I was treated by Jenner Chan at the Cosmetic Medical Clinic in Pitt Street Sydney. She assessed my face and declared that I would be an excellent candidate for this treatment. (I am 43 years old, non smoker, fair skin) She talked up the treatment for a good 45 minutes. I think she thought I may not have the treatment done. Should I have been suspicious that she had NO before and after photos of patients to show me ?Probably, but I had travelled from Brisbane and was keen to get the treatment done.
Numbing cream was applied and then the treatment began. My jawline was the most painful but this seemd to be as she was pressing very hard on the bone with the hand tool. I was in there for over two hours. She kept saying she 'wanted to see a result'. (This is ridiculous as she had already told me that results would take two to thre months to appear)
At the end of the treatment she said she was 'delighted with my reaction' and that I should see some good results. (This was probably due to the fact that my face was so swollen!) I was very swollen and very sore when I left. I had to ice my face and touching my face was extrmely painful for three weeks afterwads. I was badly bruised along my jawline on esch side of my face. THe swelling took five days to subside and then my face looked exaclty the same as it did prior to treatment.
I returned last week (110 days after the treatment). Jenner took photos and I told her that I was very disappointed with the results (or lack of) .She struggled to find any change at all on the 'after ' shots. She then said that Ultherapy doesnt work for everyone and that my expectation were too high! This was the woman who has said she was delighted with the results . She then said she thought I had better not have another treatment as it was obvious this one hadn't worked. No offer of a free treatment or any sort of sympathy. She was quite cold and couldn't wait to get me out of her office.
$2000 down the drain. Don't bother and avoid this practitioner like the plague.
