3 Weeks post touch up

My recovery is going really well and I'm very happy with the results to date. Dr Ajaka has smooth out the lumps and bumps, I'm so happy with the results!!

This time round I have a different relationship with my CG. Wearing it for the first two weeks full time I seemed to have a reaction to the top of the CG. I don't have to wear the vest under the CG I wear a white wrap it around your torso CG over the top of my 'neck to knee' black CG. It was really irritating my skin to the point it looked like burn marks but Laura was amazing, she knew what to do. She reviewed my skin at one of my post op massage appointments and recommended placing gauze under the CG to protect the skin. It did the trick and I'm still wearing the gauze every day!!

I have a couple of very small scar tissue lumps that I'm confendent at with more massaging will work their way out. Liva who has been massaging me so far is great!! But worse case I know the team at Cosmos will look after me if massaging is not doing the trick.

I'm now just 3 weeks post op (touch up), swelling is going down, bruising is gone, I'm very happy with my results but can't wait til I no longer have to wear my CG. I don't know how you guys have surgery in summer and keep your CG on I take my hat off to you all :-)

Thanks for reading my review if you have any questions please ask :-)

Round Two

It has been a while since my last update. Everything has been going well but the lumps under breast and along the top/sides of upper ribs but after Dr Ajaka reviewed we agreed a 'touch up' was needed....and today's the day!

I really like how Dr Ajaka takes pride in his work if he's not 100% he talks you through his thinking process which is great because when you think about it my body is a walking billboard (a credit) to his abilities...but I still a little nervous.

I've just recently come back from an oversea trip with hubby, you know how you can have one if those moments that makes you think "wow I never thought that would be me" well I had my moment walking back from a swim in the ocean, sun setting behind me and all I could see was my shadow, I have to say My shadow has a waist line!! loved that shadow!! random thought I know but take the wins when they show up :-)

Funny how I'm really nervous about the touch up surgery but I know I'm in great hands with Dr Ajaka and his team. I only have to wear my CG two weeks full time and two weeks part time so I should be good to go for summer!!!
I go in today at 2pm so I'll make sure I up date with new pic very soon. Fingers crossed!!!

Nine weeks post op

Wow time flys nine weeks post op already. Sorry I haven't updated for a couple weeks.

Week seven was a hard week for me, having my body getting use to not wearing my CG and process my swelling was strange. Who would have thought at the beginning of this journey that I would come to feel very comfortable wearing my CG...crazy but true. Also wearing clothes against my skin drove me crazy. I use to take off my CG for 12hrs but it was for sleeping, having my work shirts rub against my skin made me feel itchy and sitting at my desk also felt weird. Now nine weeks post op I'm getting back into my exercise routine lots of planks, bike riding, walking, steps, squats and push ups I'm still not comfortable to do crunches but I'm sure that will come.

I'm still using bio oil and massaging daily. I'm back to Cosmos this Friday for my next massage and round two of PRP which I'm really looking forward too.

The team at Cosmos are still so very supportive. I have noticed over the past week that I have more swelling especially the area where I'm having my PRP treatment. This could be due to a few different factors, no longer wearing my CG, now exercising, girly monthly visit and having been sitting for most of today due to work meetings. I'll keep massaging keep up my fluids and I'll post an update next Monday to celebrate 10 weeks post op woohoo!!

I'm still really really happy with my results and I do have to look at my pre op photos to remind myself just how far I have come and how amazing Dr Ajaka's work is.

Attached are some updated nine weeks post op photo :-)

So far my interactions with Dr Kishida have been great. He is very thorough, has answered all my questions but most of all I feel very comfortable & safe. I'll review more after my surgery. Dr Joseph Ajaka was my surgeon who has done amazing work with my body!!
