31, TT/BBL/Hips- Suwanee, GA

I successfully had my procedure BBL, TT, HIPS, on 12/16/14. I went for pre-op on 12/15 and my BP was thru the roof. Because of that Dr. J sent me to a cardioloist for addtional review. The Dr. was right around the corner and her worked me in quickly. I was diagnosed with stage 1 hypertention. Ironiclly i was more upset thinking i couldnt have the surgery than the diagonisis itself. Anyway i was given a round of medications to take immediately and the day of surgery although at this point i wasnt sure what day that was going to be. Getta as awsome in trying to comfort me at a time that i was so unsure of what lye ahead. I was originally scheduled for 7:30 am however i was unable to keep the appointment. the concern was with my BP so high presurgery it would only be higher post surgery which he was not willing to risk. and i thank him for that!!! as much as i wanted these procedures i want me (life) more. So the day of surgery i was able to get inot the second spot due to a patient running a fever. funny how things workout. things moved very quickly when i got there pre-op, my mom went to get my meds and straight into surgery i went. Dr. J was very nice as well as the rest of the staff. After reviewing my numbers (labs) he advised he may not be able to do both TT and BBL he would do the BBL first then i could come back in a few weeks/months and do the TT. well the TT was my main purpose however i understood the logic of doing the BBL first. He said we could scratch the TT or he could make the decision is surgery. I told him i trust him completely and to make the decision in surgery.. the issue was my iron was right on the miniumn to be normal. My only complaint would have been .that i was advised of that when my labs were submitted i could of taken supplements. Anyway he marked me and i went to the OR. A few hours later i woke up and EVERYTHING was done. 1100 in each cheek ad 200 in each hip. The pain post surgery was not at all what i expected to be honest i was in no pain. i did take my meds as prescribed so i'd imagine that'd b the reason why. I also have a high pain tolerance.
Over the next few days i saw my butt swell and swell and swell. i almost thought why did i do this.. this is not what i wanted but i know Dr. J wouldnt do me wrong and he said he would make me even more beautiful and confident. I put my trust in him so i couldnt go back now. I had 3 drains as standard 2 infront 1 n my butt. after 1 week i was able to have 2 drains removed the 3rd one wa not removed until the 14th day. I was so thankful to have those things gone. to me that is the worst of the recovery they are just annoying. I made the 6 hr drive home immediately after the last drain was removed. Thankfully i am out of work on FMLA & Short term disability so i have no worries regarding work and by the time i return i will be able to sit normally. I can start to sit now with boppy pillow and neck rolls but i just chose not too. I hope you all find this review helpful i am beyond happy with my results and would recommend Dr J to anyone !!! He and his staff as nothing short of amazing, professional and prompt!

Next Tuesday 12-16, I will be officially a Dr. J curves girl!! I am beyond excited for this transformation. I can not believe it is actually going to happen.

I have exactly 2 weeks as of today and I can not wait. Last night I could hardly sleep. I was so excited LOL . I sure cant go on like this for 2 weeks, so hopefully I will be able to sleep tonight. Today I'm going to try to do a little more on the treadmill and maybe that will help. I'm just so excited :)
