Hello Ladies,
I'm new to RealSelf but I have been reading everyone's reviews and experiences. I recently had my virtual consultation with Dr Jimerson. He seems really nice and his staff has been really helpful with answering my questions. I'm a married and have 2 beautiful little girls. My youngest daughter is 2 months old and I am looking to have my surgery Jan 2013 (that will put me at 6 months post delivery). Both of my pregnancies put a toll on my body. I'm so insecure about my stomach, it's all wrinkled and ugly...I HATE IT!!! My body used to be amazing but not so much anymore...I am a fitness fanatic and take I eat very well but no matter what I do I just dont feel pride in my body anymore. All I see is my ugly stomach and flat butt (I used to have a nice one but that disappeared).
I am looking to get a full tummy tuck, and fat grafting to the butt and hips. I dont want a huge butt, just a really nice one with a little "spank" on it...lmao...I'll post a pic of my ideal body as soon as I figure out how.
I am choosing to go with Dr Jimerson because his work amazes me. He is an artist and I figured if I'm going to do it I mind as well get it done right...This is my life and body on the line...not to say other PS arent good, but I personally would only feel comfortable having Jimerson as my PS. This is something that I have been wanting for 5 years and I finally have the finances and time to do it...
I have a few questions for you beautiful ladies that have gone through with your procedure and got your J Curves:
1) I've seen plenty of photos os ladies a few months post op, but I am more interested in seeing pictures of ladies more than a year post op. Do any of you have pics that you could post? I dont want to spend so much money only to have it disappear 2 years down the line...
2) Have any of you had a tummy tuck and BBL at the same time? Could you please tell me about your experience? Thinking about the recovery is freaking me out!!!
3) For you active ladies, how long did it take you to feel comfortable in the gym? running? weights? Due to the nature of my job, I have to be fit and ready to go.
I will continue to post about my journey...Thanks....

I have my surgery scheduled and I'm super excited and nervous. I decided to only do the tummy tuck with lipo for now, at least until my lifestyle slows down and I'm not so active. I will post before and after pics once it gets closer to my date.
So, I had my surgery today. Everything went well....

So, I'm 2 weeks post op and I wanted to give you an update....
First off, I had my drains removed a week ago and it was horrible. I didn't read any posts about this so I didn't think it would be a big deal. My drain removal process was painful but my drains were placed in a very odd spot. Due to the fact that I had previous c sections and my incision was placed extremely low, my tummy tuck scar was also placed extremely low. My drains were placed in the crease between the thigh and the vagina, so it hurt like hell when it was time to take them out. I have friends that have had tummy tucks and their experience wasn't nearly as bad as mine.
Anyway, once the drains were removed it was easier for me to walk arou d and do things on my own. I stopped taking my pain meds about 5 days post op, so I was driving around 8-9 days post op with no problem.
I would say at ths point, I still have discomfort in my lower back from the Lipo but that's about it.
