I believe in vitamins

I have been taking arnica pills a week prior and after surgery. Dissolvable iron, COQ10, B-12. Pills Super Enzymes (bromelin) and multivitamins. Plus my medication for after surgery. Doctor is insisting that I will not need pain med (30mg/500 Tylex) equal to hydrocodone. I hope so. I take three every six hours. Today is day six. I'm getting anxious to get out of the house. I can stand upright, but doctor and massage say to keep hunched over. Still very swollen.

Things That I Wish I did Buy and Things not needed

I wish I would have bought the thing that picks up stuff off the ground. I saw one a CVS and it was only $15 USD. I should have gotten. You have to be hunched over, even if you can stand up or your tummy tuck sutures and things can get messed up.

2. The maxi pads didn't really need for me. I bleed in the hospital first day from lipo on my back and that was it. I just washed my faja and we are done with that.

3. The boppy doesn't really work either. I have used it more for back support rather then butt.

4. The Yoga mat is huge. After being in bed for two days I had to start to sit up and having the yoga mat helped. If I lay down to much my back starts to swell and hurt. I try to save that for when I'm going to go to sleep.

5. The pee thing is useless. It is too hard to manage especially when you can barely stand up

6. A good comb that can get through hair easily. I left my good comb and brought a cheap one. I cant tell you how it hurt to try and do my hair.

7. Suction cups are awesome for the shower or anytime you need the drain to hang. I got from Dollar Tree and taking a shower was much easier.

8. HELP - I swear you will need someone who is patient, isn't going to judge, reminds you to take meds, cooks, everything. I'm very independent and this is something I could never let just anyone help me get through.

9. I underestimated the swelling. The pain is not that bad it is the swelling that has me in so much grief.

10. Accept that the garment is going to be a part of my life. It sucks!!! Realistically for the results to be excellent I plan on wearing for three months.

After and Before Pictures of Tummy Tuck/BL/BA/LIPO/BBL

Below are my pics for before and after. Granted I have a long way to go to see the true results. Right now I'm 4 days out and doing okay. It comes in waves. I have given up on good sleep. But actually I'm only taking Tylex 30mg (hydrocodone) every 6 hours. I only have 24 pills. Doctors seems to think that will be enough. I'm addicted to Arnica pills/cream/massages/and vitamins. Worst part is that I have not been able to get consistent bowel movement. Only one. Not fun. I'm in Brazil and eating tons of papaya, melon, fresh coconut water and tropical air. So, maybe this will help me to heal faster. I do home almost two weeks. Also, make sure if you do go out of town, buy a business class or first class back. I can tell you that sitting or laying down too much makes your body hurt.

Dr. Wander was referred to me by my cousin who is Braslian but lives in Cali near me. I have been wanting to do something for me for the last five years. Based all my research. I felt that going out of the country was best for me and my situation. The level of care in by Dr. Wander and his staff goes well beyond US standards (outpatient vs. inpatient), level of expertise in plastic surgery, etc.
