Day 5- First Family Outing
Not much pain today, just a little discomfort when I rest my body weight on my arms. When will they finally drop??? They are sooo high! I know it is normal, but it makes it hard to wear normal shirts.
Hubby went back to work, so today was my first day alone with the kids (9 years old and 22 months old).
Everything went pretty well. I caught myself doing a few short lifts and pushes of my daughter but I don't think any damage was done. There was this weird warm, gushing sensation that I felt while driving home from the store. What was that??? I would have almost expected my shirt to be wet. It felt like really warm water was just flowing around both of my breasts, so weird. Nothing looked abnormal when we got home though.....
Went to dinner with the in-laws tonight, I think the sweater covered them very well.

Day 4--- yaay Boobieland!
So the pain pump was driving me absolutely crazy last night. As thankful as I am for it, it was really itching. I almost pulled it out during the night out of craziness, but am glad I waited for my husband. I was so scared but didn't even feel a thing! Woo hoo! I felt so liberated once the tubes were gone. It was also hubby's first peek at the new additions and he seemed quite happy with the progress.
I felt pretty great today. Didn't take any meds, tried some natural laxative ideas, and finally had a BM!!!! I can tell how bloated I was in one of the pics from today. I drove myself to get my haircut and to Target. I may have irritated my incisions while trying on sports bras, but they didn't look any different. The sports bras there weren't great, but I needed one with a black strap to wear to family dinner tomorrow night. The surgical bra strap isn't hidden easily. As great as I feel, I am still moving pretty slow. Certain movements are just annoyingly uncomfortable at this point. And I still get pretty tired after bouts of activity. So I basically plan to do something, and then I take a quick nap (5-20 min). I know they still look like frankenboobies, but I am being hopeful that I'll see some positive changes within the next couple weeks.
