4 months post op - Pic update!

Sorry girls, I updated my review in the BBL sections instead of this one by accident so I'll just copy and paste to make sure it reaches the right audience :)

Hey lovely ladies!

I hope you are all well! I havnt been on here much recently but thought I would give you an update now that quite a few months have passed since my op.

My recovery has been very smooth sailing, I have been extremely lucky and I feel very blessed that I've been so lucky to have such an easy time of it.

I am still over the moon with my results and still can't recommend Dr Aslani and his team highly enough. I am a new woman!

I am now working out regularly and can do anything I want to the exact same way as I could before.

I have to be honest, the only down side to my implants is that when I bend at the knees they are VERY visible so I need to make sure I don't wear any clothing that is too thin. That may be a deal breaker for some but given where I have come from to where I am now, it's a price I am happy to pay. My surgery was more reconstruction than aesthetic as I've said before.

Thanks for reading! X

Hi ladies,

Some of you may have already seen a review from me on the BBL section of the site. I decided to delete it and write another on here, as I felt it was only fair that the right audience gets to see it. I initially thought I was going with a BBL, but was later informed by my surgeon I would need implants.

I wont take up too much time giving you my back story. I have spent the last 15 years loathing my figure. Something, somewhere went wrong when I hit puberty and I just did not fill out the way I was supposed to and it really got me down. Last year I decided enough was enough and something had to be done. I looked around online and found this site which soon lead me to Dr Alexander Aslani, Cirumed Clinic. His reviews and results mostly looked fantastic and I decided he was the right choice for me. I sent my photos off and quickly got a response from the patient coordinator, Jenny. She advised that Dr A confirmed I would need implants as I did not have enough fat for a BBL. I was a little disappointed but he was the expert and I was going to trust his recommendation. After chatting some more with Jenny I decided this was the right choice for me. I must say, Dr A is lucky to have her. Not only is she quick and efficient at responding to emails, she is a very kind and lovely woman, a real delight to deal with. I paid my deposit and set my date. I then had a Skype consultation with Dr A and he explained the full procedure to me and made sure my expectations were realistic. He answered all my questions and I was happy and excited for my approaching date.

The date arrived. I am waiting to be taken down to theatre. I got to my room around 8:30am by the time I checked in, and I was taken to theatre at 9:15am so it wasnt much of a wait. Dr A came to talk to me and really drilled it in about how important the drains are and how it is absolutely crucial that I look after them to minimize the risk of seroma. They took my before pics, marked me up, soaked me in Iodine and before I knew it was drifting off to sleep. I was woken with people putting me into a garment and I panicked a little. I just think I was brought round a bit too quick and got a fright. For most of that day I just slept. Couldnt eat, couldnt walk, could barely lift my head off the pillow. I felt sick, but wasnt actually sick. I just wanted that first day to be over. The nurses came in every few hours to give me pain relief and antibiotics through a drip. There wasn’t much pain at that time, just a very odd feeling. That first night’s sleep was the worst ever. I could only sleep for 10 minutes at a time. Being on my tummy was really horrible as I never sleep like that. I never got up to go to the toilet until the next morning. It was very strange looking at myself in the mirror with a bum, I couldn’t believe it. Even just in the garment. I couldn’t sit on the toilet. Thank god for the shepee! I cannot stress enough how much this is the number 1 purchase you NEED to have. I wish I had practiced with it first mind you, there was a few accidents! My sister came to collect me later that day and took me back to her apartment. I am lucky enough to have her living in Spain and she was there to wait on me hand and foot for 2 weeks, it made it so much easier. The first 3 days are rough ladies. I was exhausted, and sleeping was so difficult. But it does get easier. I took my pain meds for 7 days after surgery to make sure I didn’t make things unnecessarily uncomfortable for myself. There wasn’t much pain to be honest anyway, just incredibly tight and unable to bend over or sit. The post-surgery meds consisted of 2 different antibiotics, pain relief, vit c, iron supplement and a tummy settler. 16 pills a day!

Okay so the implants I got were 250cc oval placed intramuscular along with 300cc of fat in each cheek. DI had my tummy, flanks, waist and inner thighs lipo'd. Dr A makes 2 incisions instead of 1 as there is a much lower complication rate this way. I am happy to say that my incisions healed over perfectly and no seroma what so ever! I have not had one single complication. Fingers crossed it stays this way.

I got my drains out on day 7 and my incision stitches out on day 14. Flew home on day 15. The flight was 3 hours and wasnt too rough at all. I was lucky enough to have an aisle seat with extra leg space so I could stand any time I wanted. I went back to work on day 18. I had a desk job and have been able to sit without too much trouble. I just stand every now and then. When Im at home I lay on my tummy. Im now 3 and a half weeks post op and pretty much feel myself. Still sleeping on my tummy, wearing my garment and no exercise until week 6 though.

Another thing to mention is that all the staff at the clinic are so lovely, gentle and understanding. They really do put you at ease.

I truly believe Dr Aslani is a master of his craft, he really does treat his work like a piece of art. He has performed a miracle on me. He reconstructed my bum from something that looks like an alien to a cute perky butt which I have had compliments about from perfect strangers already!

Jenny sent me my before and after photos today and I am blown away. If these photos don’t show the level of skill and expertise of this surgeon, nothing will. The after photos are day 7, so I am still bruised as you can see. Ladies, if you are considering Dr Aslani, I hope this review cements your decision. You'll be in great hands.

Well I hope I have not bored you all to sleep! Thanks for reading my review!

xx
