Saw doc today. It was painful when she was removing all the tape..ouch! But when i saw my new stums and new bellybutton i forgot the pain. The scar runs from hip to hip and gave me goosebumps when i saw it. Doc says im healing well. But my legs were extremely swollen so she advised me to keep them up. When i got bak home i was exhausted. Wnt post my pic cos its gross!
1 week post op
Yipeeee! I can walk widout the help of the walker today. My kids were super excited to see me walk on my own again :). I get very tired very quickly so am taking it easy. Feet swells when im up for too long. Today is the last day for my hired nurse...from tomoro il have to do everything on my own. Im sure i will manage. I got extra pain meds prescribed cos my stock from hospital depleted yestrday. I feel flutters and little like electric currents in my abdomen at my scars. I suppose its the nerves reconnecting. I go for my 1 week post op consult to my PS tomoro. I hope she will be happy with my recovery thus far.
3 days post op
Oh the excruciating pain on my right side abdomen is unbearable today. Cried like a big baby the whole morning. Every movement feels like im getting torn apart. The pressure garment is also cutting into my old scars from my breast reduction so im sore all over! Ouch! Ouch! Ouch!
