Reviews you can trust, from real people like you.
How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
  • Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

11 Months after, going back for follow up procedure

My tummy tuck also came with a revision so that once the skin settled and all the swelling went down, I was rescheduled to go back. This time the healing time was much faster, I was walking around by the next day, they took out all the relaxed skin around my whole scar and did some lipo in order to put everything into proportion. I still have work to do as you can see. I had the second surgery on 16 Sept 2014. Stomach completely flat now to get to work on those hate handles.

4 day post op

So I'm doing great. I am off all pain meds. Still have a couple of tubes in, but I had 3 taken out. I had one each from my breast and one today from my lower pubic area. 2 more to go, yeah! I did get sick yesterday from the pain meds yesterday at the dr. office. Now that sucked, my abs was on fire when I vomited, luckily only once. I do believe that if you are a very active person meaning working out every week I think it really helps with your recovery. If you are not very physical this may hurt way more than you would want. I hated being drugged up after day 3 because I was nothing but tired and never felt rested, but now super awesome. Walking around pretty straight but does hurt back if I walk around too much. Still waiting for the first poop, little nervous about that, but everyone says its pretty darn easy, nothing to worry about. All in all it has been a good experience compared of what I had going on in my head. My surgeons office is unbelievably awesome, so supportive and caring.I never have to wait, they have become like family. All super people, it wasn't just my money they wanted. Oh yeah, if any of you have squeamish hubby's like I do, it is very important to have a supportive mom or someone to help you with this. You will need tons of help, there is no way you can do this without any help, Trust me on this!! I will get some pics up soon. Sorry I havn't gotten to that yet. Girls thanks so much for all your support.

Day 1 post op

got to sleeps quite a bit in between taking my meds and walking around every 4 hours for 4 minutes. Still the pain is pretty bearable, getting out and into the recliner is the hardest part. But all in all doing really well. I go into today to see Dr. Kling at 230 to take a look at everything. So I will keep you updated.
