More Than Happy!!

I went in for my consultation and it was great. I was very pleased by Dr Jay's knowledge and the ability to do my procedure, I booked it right away. The staff called in my prescriptions and I picked them up the day before. I was prescribed some pain killers and antibiotics. The day of the procedure, I was taken into a room to dress for the procedure. Everything was very nice and clean. I felt 100% ready to go. Dr. Jay marked my body and I was prepared for the procedure.
During the procedure, I was injected with numbing fluid and and then "it" started. I was amazed by how smoothly everything was going. There were a few spots that were not as numb as they should have been but Dr Jay stopped and numbed the spot again. I was fully up and aware during the entire procedure.
After the procedure, I was stitched up and was able to walk out of the Dr's office. I was still under a lot of numbing fluid but I did have a port for the remaining fluid to drain. I had to go back to the dr's office the next day to remove the port and stitch up the opening. I was then told to wear my garment for the next 3 weeks (see pics). Once I got home, I was wanted to lay down and get some rest. I didn't take any pain medication but during the night I felt like my work came crashing down! I immediately took my pain killer and stayed on them for about 2 days-taking them everything every 4-6 hrs.
Two weeks after the procedure (see pics), I am still very swollen and its very sore. Yet, I'm still wearing my garment. Its about 90 degrees outside so the garnet gets very uncomfortable and itchy at times. I can see the results but do have some concerns..nothing to stress about yet, because I know my body is still adjusting to the procedure.
It is now 4 weeks out (see pics) and my stomach is still very sore. There is still swelling especially in the lower part and the center. Its a darker color, and there are some lumps but I assume its because of the healing process. I am getting used to not wearing the garment although I feel I still need to wear it at times (while Im in the house). I am able to go to the gym now. I went to my first Zumba class and was able to stay the whole class. How exciting!!! Ill keep you updated on my progress as the days/months come.
