I just married a man that I have known for 18...
I just married a man that I have known for 18 years. He has seen my struggles with weight and relationships off and on over the years and married me anyways...I love him dearly. He is struggling with my serious consideration to go in to have the gastric sleeve done on me. He doesn't understand why I can't do it on my own and says that this is just a quick fix and is concerned about the whole thing. Now, this man has known me as a young adult as a far less heavy woman than what I am now...(that is what I think attracted him to me in the first place, my healthy nice look) I know he would like to see me healthy and happy like that again...can someone please tell me if they are having the same issues and how are you dealing with it? I am still probably going to go through with it anyway if I am approved for the surgery as I have done like most of you and have tried every diet know to man and have secretly struggled with food all my life. It just does not want to stay off of me...I am a fat magnet! Thanks for your help.
