How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.
If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

Post OP Day 1
So glad it is over and done with! Won't be able to see anything until I go in for drain removal, scheduled for Monday. My husband is actually more helpful that I anticipated - even emptying my drain bulb and keeping track.
As long as I don't move, I feel great. It's the getting up part that hurts, but not all that bad, very manageable for sure. Love that Exparel stuff (injection that wears off after 3 days instead of a pain pump! Feel nothing at the incision site and oddly, my flanks don't hurt either from the lipo. Must be that Dilaudid!! Am starting to feel a little antsy and anxious though. Just knowing I can't go anywhere bugs me. Nothing to be done about that though. Just plan on resting and watching movies today.
How's everyone else doing???

Home!
Went pretty well, I guess. Not in much pain. only when I move! If any of you have the Exparel option - take!!! Haven't spoken with the surgeon, he called when I was already on the phone with the anesthetist. Left message to call if I needed anything.... Really?? Anyway, here's to a good nights sleep, I hope...
Feeling optomistic!
13 hours and counting... Just got off the phone with my nurse-anesthetist. She was very reassuring. She had a tummy tuck herself and can't take narcotics and only had extra strength Tylenol! Wow! She thinks this is easier than C-sections, so hey, maybe there is some hope after all that it won't be as bad as I imagined. I guess I will know soon. Can't wait to take that Xanax and go off to dreamland!!
