Comparing the two images side by side gives me a lot of encouragement.

Just another update

I had my third session last week. She turned up the heat this time, and I could definitely tell. Last time, we treated the blue areas with the Ruby laser and the 1064 on the grey/black outlines. But this time she used the 1064 wavelength on the entire tattoo at level 8 (whatever that means). The day after, my foot looked splotchy and purple and little blisters appeared. After the redness dissipated, I could tell that the turquoise had significantly faded. Right now I am just waiting for the scabs to fall completely off. (I'll post a picture of it once it has healed nicely.)

I am beginning to be frustrated with this process. I know I shouldn't because the tattoo seems to be fading quickly and I knew it would take a period of many months for the tattoo to go away. But UGH. Do any of you have any words of wisdom for me? I could use some.

Okay, so my last account wouldn't let me write a review for some odd reason, but I'm probably just inept with technology. First off, I would like to say that I have already had two sessions with the quanta-c laser system. I feel like a total moron for getting this tattoo. I should have known as soon as I walked in the shop and the artist was telling me that "most people regret getting a small tattoo; I think you will want it bigger." I should have turned toward the door and left. But nope, that is not what I did. I approved of the sketch, which took a few days to create. The outcome just wasn't what I expected...
Originally, I wanted a small simple tribal looking shark tattoo on my foot and this is just not what I wanted. And so, I told my mother and I am so thankful that she has been very understanding and is helping me with the process of removal. Ink regret really sucks. I don't mind looking down at my foot, but I wish that I didn't have to see this blob staring back at me. Thank god it is winter and thus boot season.
First session went well and the gray instantly zapped away. The last session, which was last week, went well too and the lines on the shark have faded a lot. I am hoping that since I am quite young and very healthy (have a strong immune system and I rarely get sick, don't drink or smoke) that this tattoo will be gone soon! Although, it is on my foot so that is a bummer and I have light blue and turquoise :( I was quoted for 6-7 sessions but I would be happy just to see some significant fading before summer rolls around.
