Worth the Flight to Seattle

At age 55, my face and neck began sagging heavily; I hated the side view of myself I’d sometimes catch in the mirror while getting ready for work in the morning. I began investigating plastic surgery to eliminate the frumpiness and, at the urging of a close friend who had had a face lift by Dr. Portuese a few years earlier, sent his staff my photos. He recommended a face lift, brow lift, neck lift, and upper eyelid reduction. When I couldn’t find a plastic surgeon locally whose before/after pictures I liked, I decided to fly to Seattle and have Dr. Portuese do the procedure.
My experience with Dr. Portuese and his staff was outstanding, they are so good at what they do and incredibly skilled. I had minimal pain and swelling, no complications, and in 2-1/2 weeks the bruising was minimal and I looked like my younger self again. Dr. Portuese is a superb surgeon and was on target with my need for a brow lift in addition to the face and neck lifts. Unlike many plastic surgeons (based on their pre/post photos), he doesn’t leave you with a taut, unnatural looking face. No one knows I had plastic surgery; the incisions are so well hidden that even my hairdresser doesn’t realize it.
