My breasts developed early and it seems they didn't stop growing for years. I'm athletic and have never been overweight. I wore baggy sweatshirts and worked at pulling my shoulders forward in a lame attempt to seem smaller. I've worked at concealing my true figure for as long as I can remember. I finally worked up the courage to make a change. I only wish I had made this decision earlier.
My yoga practice has improved, my back and shoulders don't hurt, I have confidence and stand up straight. It's silly but shopping feels better, too. Prior to surgery I couldn't walk to a store a find a sports bra in my size, I had to special order those. Now, I can find sports bras in my size and can even wear the cute versions of things. I no longer need to take the size of a strap into consideration before buying a shirt or bra! Hooray for spaghetti straps! -never thought I'd say that =)
Dr. Scott Sattler is boob genius! He cares as much about the technical side as the aesthetic side. He is kind and courteous and will make sure you are comfortable every step of the way. He is simply the best. I couldn't have asked for a better doctor. I would hope anyone considering breast reduction, or any procedure for that matter, make an appointment with Dr. Scott Sattler.
