Yooooooooooooooo

Guess who can now buy $13 bras at Target?

I damn near had a meltdown, y'all. Only the formerly big tittied girls can understand ... the first time you buy a bra for less than $20 is when it finally gets REAL.

There is no preparation for that moment when it hits you that decades of living with the persistent threat of back pain and hunched shoulders and excess weight gets lifted. It's like the wind gets knocked out of your lungs. I cried.

Hope y'all are all having perky [RS bleep] and uneventful convalescence. Thanks for making this girl feel a little less alone.

Thanks so much for your breast reduction review!

The workhorse bra

I woke up after the surgery in the Design Veronique bra, and it's been my go-to ever since. Which is just as well, since the doctor told me that I had to be in the bra 24/7 for the first few weeks.

I can wear a sports bra now, but I find myself coming back to this bra time and time again. It's easy to wear (with a front AND back closure), easy to figure out which side is which (the rosettes on the front side help), and it keeps everything sucked in.

I have attached a pic to show that I still have plenty to keep sucked in. :/

Anyhoo, I wear this bra during the day. It's highly functional but I'm eager to take it off at night (I sleep and/or lounge around the house in the RxBra).

Compression Bra review time! The RxBra

It's time to buy another compression bra for my convalescence!

This is the RxBra. You can buy it at www.rxbra.com.

This bra is described as comfortable, and it is. It's a mostly nylon construction, and it feels very light and conforms well to the body.

I really want to like this bra, but there is one huge flaw here that prevents me from falling in love. Namely, that is the velcro that is meant to hold the bra straps together. It's a super-flimsy construction that reeks of the sort of afterthought that women's clothes normally get when faced with actual construction needs. It disappoints to the nth degree that the RxBra relies on super-flimsy Velcro that comes apart at a moment's notice (I'm wearing extensions and the Velcro always gets caught in my extensions).

I do like the RxBra but I would only wear this to sleep, or to the gym (i.e., for short periods of time when -- hopefully -- the bra will not come apart in mid-motion).

Dr. Cooper's work was remarked upon favorably by a nurse who was admiring his handiwork with the titties. He's a pro and that's what I wanted this time around ... someone who knew the lay of the land and was experienced. I have not been disappointed. He's met my expectations and then some. If anything, he's had to put up with me so he gets points for that!
