Chin Implant with Liposuction - San Ramon, CA

I've been self conscious for years with my weak chin; pushing it out during photos and obsessing in the mirror. Getting plastic surgery was a last resort for me. I tried mindfulness and I tried unsuccessfully to accept this aspect of my appearance. It was something that I thought about daily and it was making me miserable. Prior to meeting with Dr. Parhiscar I met with another surgeon who was apparently known as the 'Bay Area Chin Guy'. He and his surgery were not a good fit for me. He was young, very cocky and he sat there for the first ten minutes and spoke about his own chin and injections he'd had. He then proceeded to tell me every flaw in my face and what needed to be done. I left with a quote for $7,500 and was almost in tears. So I then contacted Dr. Parhiscar and the experience was polar opposite to the first guy. Dr. Parhiscar is uber professional, knowledgable and a very experienced plastic surgeon. We discussed the type and size of the implant and I was able to see a photo manipulation of the projected outcome, which in hindsight was really quite accurate. Not once did he discuss other procedures that I could consider and I respected him because of that. I was slightly nervous about having the implant placed intraorally as opposed to under the chin but once he explained to me the benefits I agreed to having it this way. I left his office feeling completely at ease and so excited about the procedure. The procedure happened without any issues and the recovery really wasn't that terrible. I was on pain relief for a week and I did rest as much as possible. I was given clear recovery instructions and I must say, follow them, they're there to help you, not hinder you. The pre and post opp care that I received was very thorough. Mel, the Patient Care Coordinator is seriously one of the friendliest, helpful and lovely people you'll ever meet. There's a reason why people rave about her on here! I really enjoy going to their office. Fast forward two months and I couldn't be happier with the results. I don't ever think about my chin anymore. I've had the operation, I'm so happy with the results and there's more important things to think about like chasing my eight month old baby around! My only regret would be not getting it done years ago. If there's something that is really really bothering you, do your research and meet with more than one surgeon. Find one who is a good fit for you. For me, I highly recommend Dr Parhiscar.
