Before and After Pics from 7 Months Post-Op
So it's been a while since I've updated. I didn't want to be too critical of my outcome until I was at least 6 months post op because of all the day-to-day fluctuations in swelling and the like.
Overall I'm pleased with my results. The tip of my nose is still hard, a little round, and it hurts a bit to push up on it, but I think most of the swelling is gone overall from the rest of my nose. I have noticed that there is still a tiny bit of a "hump" left but it's significantly reduced from before.
I tend to like the way it looks in pictures more so than I do in the mirror. Perhaps it's just me getting used to it or not remembering what it looked like before. I am not so sure I am totally in love with it from the front as of yet - still feel like it looks wide when I smile but I'm going to wait a few more months before I judge it. I sort of wish I had decided to make it a tiny bit smaller, but it's certainly better than it was before so I can't complain.

CAST OFF!!! Update Day 8 :)
The cast is off and I'm super happy! It looks natural and perfect! It's not the cute little button nose that a lot of girls desire, but compared to the giant Italian nose I had before, it looks amazing :) I'm super happy with the entire experience so far and think Dr. Ransom is a genius!
If I can cover up the bruise (I tried makeup today and I think it works), then I might go in to work tomorrow.... gonna shower tonight and see. Yay!

Dr. Ransom is a great doctor and very professional. His office coordinator is super nice too. I would trust him with every procedure. His work seems to be a bit on the conservative side, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. My rhinoplasty looks very very natural (in fact, no one noticed it!). Just be sure to be clear with him about what you want since the initial visits can seem a bit rushed. My recovery was a breeze too - back to work (in person) in a week!
