Almost 6 months post op

Just wanted to post some pics of my progress. I started private pilates sessions in June and we didnt do abs until I was about 18-20 weeks post op.

6 weeks post op

Pictures of my scar at 6 weeks post op. so far I'm happy with the results, except the vertical scar. I want it gone!!! Anyone have one and get it revised??

3 weeks post op today!!

I've hit 3 weeks!! I still have not driven. My dr said I could after 10 days but I decided to wait a little longer and just take advantage
Of being driven around! I still don't sleep flat, I prop myself with pillows. I don't take any meds but occasionally take ibprofen, but that's usually for headaches and a recent toothache I've been having. I removed my tape last night, or part of it and bought some medipore tape. After I showered I put the medipore tape on. I'm pleasantly suprised at how thin my scar is. I know it is going to look worse in certain healing stages but it's not too bad. I get pretty swollen at night. I kinda look 3 months pregnant, I wear spanx all day, size small but by night time I need to switch to a medium size. Since my surgery I have lost 6 pounds. I can tell in my face, arms and chest that I'm skinny but my belly looks big, lol. Aaahhhhh the struggle. I still can't sneeze, meaning I can't sneeze with full force because it hurts my ab muscles. Looking forward to a normal sneeze. I have a vertical scar that needs to eventually be revised, unless it heals amazingly well which I hope is the case. But other then that I would do this again, I'm grateful we had the money to do it and we has the help. My parents are helping with the kids while my husband is back at work.
