I am 4 days post op and so far so good. The staff at Dr. Pousti's office has been wonderful. Someone has called every day to check on me and the Dr made a house all to check my incisions and progress. I have drains and a pain pump that releases a numbing agent. I highly recommend the pump. The Percocet makes me loopy and I have been able to cut it back to just nights at this point. My pain has been minimal. The hardest part is doing nothing. :).

I met with several doctors and interviewed patients that the doctors had as patients with proceedures similar to mine. Dr. Pousti's results were the one that stood out the best to me. I liked his direct approach to answering questions and knowledge. There was no pressure to sell other proceedures in addition to what I wanted. The office staff was very accomadating and personable.

I had my preop consultation today and I am so excited.

After 10 years of having a focus on raising children I decided it was time to take care of me again. I've lost over 100 pounds and worked on getting into shape and good health. With that there is alot of extra skin and saggy mom boobs that I wanted to improve and made the decision that cosmetic surgery would be a boost to feeling more like a woman and not "just mom".

Over the past year I met with multiple surgeons and made my decision in October to have Dr. Pousti complete my transformation from "just mom" to ME!

The preop consult went very smooth. The staff and doctor were very attentive to all of my questions and explained the process for surgery day in the detail I needed. After so long of planning and detailing every step in my head it is good to see the plan coming in place. Only three weeks to go until my surgery date ....

More to follow!

I'm having my mommy makeover in SD too. On May 17th.

Woo-hoo! You go! I totally relate to sometimes feeling like "just mom" and having the body to go with it. I'm glad you're doing this for yourself.

Do you have your supplies ready?

I'm scheduled for tomorrow as well... Good luck. It sounds like you have researched well and worked hard to get where your at. Congratulations!
