Day 1 Post Op

I've been meaning to write in here everyday. Day 1 was way less painful than I expected. It felt like after you feel when have not worked out in a really long time and you go all out in the gym. The main suggestion I have is have some larger comfy clothes or long maxi dresses. You are swollen and your body is different. The worst part of Day 1 was the ride to the office. Other than that my energy was good. I even put on some make up :)

Day of Surgery

So the day of surgery I was a tad nervous. You know the typical thoughts, "I'm a single mom should I be doing this?" "Am I selfish?" When I met my nurse Shannon my worries immediately went away. She made me feel at ease and I could tell she cares for her patients. Dr. Sayed came in and marked me. He was just as excited for my transformation as I was. They took me back to the operating room. The anesthesiologist put in the IV. Shannon was right there almost like a sister as I closed my eyes. When I woke up I was sore but nothing close to what I expected. Shannon was there with my other nurse Leslie. I cannot express how much both of these ladies made me feel relaxed, comfortable and at ease. The ride home was a little rough because of traffic but the minute I caught a glimpse of my shape it reinforced this was a great decision. I was able to sleep comfortably. I got up a few times to use the restroom.

One of the first things that impressed me was the immediate friendly response I received from Christine the Patient Administrator. I schedule a free consultation and was seen that same week. Christine is so professional and honest. When I arrived for my appointment I was seen at the time of my scheduled appointment. When I met Dr. Sayed I instantly knew he was the right surgeon to perform this procedure. He is extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to explain all pros and cons of the surgery. I was relaxed and excited at the same time. Due to the fact that I work from home I was quick in my decision to schedule a surgery date. My surgery is this Thursday, August 10th. I honestly feel at ease and 110% comfortable with Dr. Sayed's abilities. I cannot wait to show off my awesome results because I have no doubt they will be amazing. More to come...
