Well after losing over 100 lbs, I have decided to take the plunge for an abdominalplasty procedure with flank liposuction. I told myself when I started the weight loss journey that if I could do it and achieve the success of getting down to an ideal weight that I would reward myself by spending money on the procedure.
I had my consult appointment last week to see if I was a good candidate for the procedure. The Doctor was great and answered all of my questions. I have been researching the procedure on this site and on the Internet for quite sometime. I did not schedule my surgery at the time of the consult as I wanted time to think about it. I was offered the idea of letting a Resident perform the surgery at a reduced cost with the Dr being present. I thought about this and decided that I would pay more for the Dr to do it and not have to worry about whether the Resident would do a good job. I have researched the Dr and know about her experience, not so much on the Resident.
I called and scheduled my surgery and I am a go for March 13th. I am nervous, excited, scared, and anxious. I appreciate all the reviews on here, especially from the other Men who have done this. I know more and more Men are getting it done. I will post before pictures here soon and write my thoughts as we get closer. We are about 5 weeks away and I want to make sure I am ready.

Well I called and paid for my surgery today. It was due two weeks prior to the surgery date and today marks that two week mark. I guess I am locked in now and getting excited but really nervous as well. So any tips or advice for the next two weeks?

Only a couple of days away. Excited to get ride of the ugly scar below my belly button that was caused by a bad stitch job after I was checked for internal bleeding after an auto accident. Looking forward to the lipo of the flanks and to get rid of all the saggy skin. The weight loss of 110 lbs has been great but so looking forward to this next step!!
