Retin-A Rx and SkinCeuricals A.G.E. Eye Complex by...

Retin-A Rx and SkinCeuricals A.G.E. Eye Complex by dermatologist/cosmetic specialist. I've only used this for one day but am excited that the specialist gave me an option that was cheaper and less invasive than injections. Younger women experiencing my issues should start simple & work up. I will keep updating on the progress.

I went to a dermatologist about the issues I was having that I posted about last week (dark circles, eye bags, fine lines under eyes, crepy under eyes). I also have some concerns about my skin texture and smile lines. I asked her if Botox or fillers would be appropriate. She said absolutely not because I am 24 and that my issues weren't that bad. I don't have crows feet at all, the lines are only underneath the eye. She said that one day Botox would be okay in between my eyes to give my brows a lift. She also said my skin texture was beautiful, which shocked me. However, you always see things worse than what they really are when it comes to things like this. Luckily, the office doubles as a cosmetic surgery center. I met with the specialist and she also said no to injections. She prescribed me Retin-A and sold me the above mentioned eye cream (around $90). She said I should see a great improvement in 6-12 weeks. She was in her 50s and her skin looked amazing. She said she's never had injections and only uses these types of products. I won't get the instant gratification as I would from injections but I'm excited to see what this does for my skin. She said prevention is what I'm doing now. She also recommended me coming back in August for a good chemical peel (she would have done it now but I'm in the middle of buying a house and need to be wise about spending at least until after closing). Younger women my age should shouldn't jump to conclusions and get injections unless it's a last resort. I will keep updating on the progress of the Retin-A and eye cream. I'm also starting off slow so my skin adjusts. I have .05 strength.
