The recovery process is slow, much slower than I thought it would be, but not particularly awful. I still have residual sensations of tightness and discomfort, and there's still a bit of swelling, but I am improving week by week.

I have never done anything like this before and I'm still sort of amazed that I "went for it." Dr. Kaniff's staff are incredibly responsive, helpful and kind, and although I'm sure I asked a lot of dumb questions, they assured me that there are no such thing as dumb questions, and answered every one! I am probably not the easiest patient to do such a procedure on, because I am overweight. I am so pleased with the results!! Dr. Kaniff did not go too far, which would have made my neck look out of proportion with my body, but he took away all the "ugly." I wasn't trying to look younger - I was just trying to get rid of ugly, flabby, extra skin that hung down in wattles and made me very self-conscious. Well, it's gone. And lo ahd behold, I look younger too. The change, at least to me, is dramatic indeed. Worth every penny.
