Breast Augmentation - Very Pleased with Results - Rockville, MD

I am 35 years old, athletic with two small children. My motivation for having breast augmentation is that I am finished breast feeding and having children, and want to look more proportional and feminine. I was really worried about having silicone implants because the FDA recommends periodic MRI's to detect silent ruptures, but I wanted a natural look. I went to a couple of doctors, and I really felt comfortable with Dr. Richards. My visits with him were very personable and I felt like he could have been my internist rather than my cosmetic surgeon. I ended up going with 325 cc under the muscle, saline implants. I had the surgery at Dr. Richard's OR in the Rockville office and just before the procedure, I met the anesthesiologist who was great. I felt at ease and when I woke up I never had any sickness or nausea. My surgery was on a Friday and I was able to drive to his office on Monday by myself for a postop follow-up. I would recommend 4-5 days off to rest though. It has been 3 months since I had surgery and I am very pleased with the results. I can wear suits to work and still look professional, and then in bathing suits and tank tops, the results are fantastic! I am able to run 5 days a week and weight lift (with a supportive bra). I am very happy that I decided to go with the saline under the muscle because it still feels very natural and I don't have to worry about silent rupture. Some of the doctors I visited were really pushing me for bigger sizes and the silicone option, and the fact that Dr. Richard's listened to me and genuinely wanted me to feel good about myself is why I choose him. And I can't imagine having a better looking breast augmentation that what he gave me. :)
