Three weeks later

No change, but I'm more accustomed to the lesser ability to lift parts of my eyebrows. I am interested now to see how I view my upper face once the Dysport wears off and I can once again lift.

It will be up to forehead wrinkles vs lower eyelids as to whether I go back for more (I think I will, heheh)

I was quite hesitant to have this done as I had...

I was quite hesitant to have this done as I had always assumed Botoxed people looked like wax works. But I'd been getting sick of my forehead wrinkles and droopy brows, so finally bit the bullet and had this done as part of the package I got my cheeks and will get my lips done later this week.

I don't think there was much Dysport actually injected, as I made it clear to my nurse (Nurse Amy, at Robina. Excellent service and results!) that I feared the dreaded eyebrow droop and also being in a permanently surprised expressive state.

It barely hurt at all. I'd read it hurts more than fillers, but nope, not in this case. I didn't see any big lumps like I've seen appear with Botox in Youtube videos, but maybe I didn't see myself in time for that.

I'd read Dsyport takes only about 2-3 days to work, and so on day 5 when there seemed to be no real change, I was a bit disappointed. But then, around day 6-7, I suddenly noticed a reduction in the lines on my mid-forehead region. There seemed to only be one main line and one secondary line right at the top of the forehead area. This pleased me a lot and I was quite excited to see that it HAD worked! I also was noticing it was a bit more difficult to raise my eyebrows. Not too hard though.

By about 10 days, I was finding it VERY hard to lift my eyebrows, though I can do it with lots of effort.

Because of this though, I am noticing not an eyeBROW droop, but an eyeLID droop because of the pre-existence of some excess skin in the upper eyelid / brow bone area. As I cannot lift my eyebrows subtly anymore, my eyelids seem to be permanently in a slightly drooped state, though it's not too noticeable.

What IS noticeable however is when I try to frown, it looks really weird! I have no movement between my brows at all, which is expected, however the middle and outer parts of my brows go way down and make my eyes completely hooded! It looks quite funny.

When I go back for my lip top up in two days, I'll see what Nurse Amy says. I AM very happy with it though. DRASTICALLY less forehead wrinkles is amazing!!!
