Getting better as the weeks go by! - Rhode Island

So I am 2 weeks and 3 days post op and I finally am feeling good about everything. I am still a little unhappy with my legs and will be talking to my ps about doing more lipo there. He showed me the surgery pictures the other day at my appointment and how much he actually took off. I guess I was feeling a little more depressed a little longer than most. I am starting to feel a lot better though. Thanks for the pep talk from some of you girls. You know who you are! ; ) I will post more up to date pictures as soon as I can get my hubby to take some for me. I am thinking about buying silicone strips and reduction cream. Does anyone recommend any? I just can't wait to get back to the gym and start to work out again. I have been dieting and eating great to start getting rid of this fat that my ps couldn't lipo out of my belly. A lot of you ladies look so amazing that I think that I was just hoping and expecting for more. I know everyone is different and I am finally realizing that. I am gonna start to save up for a breast lift! LOL that's one thing the gym can't fix now. Happy healing to all you beautiful ladies and good luck to everyone that have surgeries coming up. Got my drains out today!! yayyyyyy! My husband will be taking pictures as promised tonight so we can see some post op differences. It's been 7 days post op and everything is going great. I know it's going to take some time to see te results I want because I am very swollen still and according to the ps I will be for a while. Happy healing!

Ok so not sure if this is normal but I am having a really depressing day. Not for any certain reason, but just feel like crying. I am thinking it's because the anesthesia is wearing off or whatever. I am excited for the days ahead, but I just need to get through one day at a time. Is this normal for anyone else? Has anyone else felt this way?
