10 days post op
Today is 10 days post tummy tuck lipo on flanks and breast aug. I went to the Drs today because I have a bad cough and the dr wanted to check me out. I have a slight fever 99.5 and nausea once and awhile. I know it's not from the surgery because my kiddos came down with it a few days after I had my procedure. I can't wait till I'm all better. I've had it for about 5 days now and it seems to be a lot better today. I got my last drain out today yippee!! Lol!! And also the stiches from my belly button are out to. The dr said the coughing won't hurt the stickers inside but not to use to much force when coughing. I feel so much more normal without my drain in there. It was a weird dark red wine color but the dr didn't say anything about it so I'm guessing it was okay since he took it out. I went out today to Walmart and bought some antibacterial ointment for my belly button and am going it put it on there everyday. It's swollen right now but I actually looked at myself today and LOVE my new belly!! It's so beautiful and it actually looks normal lol... As for my boobs they are coming along great! My boobs are huge but with clothes on they look pretty normal. They fit well with me and I am happy I went with 500 ccs. I've been doing my breast exercises and it's kinda tough to remember to do them 4 times a day. It takes about 3-4 to do them all which isn't bad. My dad came over today because today was hubbers first day back to work. Him and I were both super sad last night because he's been home with us for so long: 9 days straight! The baby was looking for him when he woke up saying, papa, papa, papa... My poor little man. They got so used to daddy being home lol. So did I. Hubbers said he appreciates all I do now for our family. He's a sweetheart!! I love this man with all my heart!! Any who, enough rattling about everything lol. I'll load pics soon. Hopefully tomorrow. Now it's time for some wine and snuggles with my babe!! Gotham and teen mom og here we come!!
8 days post op
Today is day 8 and I am feeling pretty good. I took another shower last night and that felt amazing!! I looked at my new tummy and I LOVE it so much! My scar is so low and is a perfect line. My boobs are exactly what I wanted and am so glad I chose dr haiavy! He truly is a perfectionist and knows his job very well! I got a drain taken out at my 1 week post op on Thursday and it didn't hurt one but. Just felt super weird. I have my left drain still in and it's barley draining anything so he told me to call him on Monday and he'll see me sooner then my 2 week post op if it's still not draining much to take it out. We went to big bear yesterday. I didn't do much except walk to the car and walk to the hotel and sit there. But the car ride over there and back wasn't fun. It hurt quite a bit going up and down the mountain. I really hope I didn't hurt anything
Day 4 post op
It's Monday afternoon and I am feeling really good. Staying on top of my pain meds is a must right now. I have been walking a lot more today without my walker and still slightly hunched over. My bowels seem to be out of wak right now because I'm super gassy and haven't had a bowl movement since Thursday. Hubby's been super helpful and took 9 days off of work. Dr Haiavy is so caring and did a great job on my surgery. My scar is low and my breasts look amazing! So happy I chose him
