I had lost 100 lbs ten years ago and felt really good about my body! I had a little loose skin but nothing I couldn't hide! I had always had a firm body type even when larger. In 2007, I developed thyroid disease. I had to have my thyroid removed and I gained 50 pounds and all of it went to my belly! Over the years, my weight gain took a terrible toll on my body! I literally looked as if I had three flat tires in my mid section and four flat ones on my back! I would diet and exercise and the weight but due to my hypothyroidism my body became resistant to weight loss. I started to wear Spanx to smooth out my appearance and one day I got fed up and said enough is enough!
I went to Dr. Morea's website to review the pictures of the work he had done and the past and in that moment, I knew I wanted his help! In reviewing other doctor's pictures, some of their patients getting tummy tucks looked as if they were gutted like a fish! It was important to me to have someone who was an artist with their scalpel so that my end result looked natural! I didn't want to walk around with what I felt would be unnecessary scars on my belly... It was comforting to see other women whose body type looked like mine and to see their transformation! I scheduled an appointment for a consultation and he advised me that I needed a tummy tuck with some lipo on the back to get a defined look.
In blind faith, I said okay! When can we get this scheduled? I knew that I was ready to start seeing myself differently, or so I thought...
I had the tummy tuck done in December and I had my back done in February. I can not believe the results so far! Even with the swelling, I feel so much better about myself! My self esteem is at an all time high! He and his staff are professional, caring and have an excellent bed side manner! I asked a million questions and they were always available to answer them and displayed extreme patience with a PS newbie!
I can't thank Dr. Morea enough with my body transformation thus far! I am excited to see the end results in the months to come!
