its been about 10 weeks since i had surgery
I have been going to the gym 3 - 5 times a week for about 1 hour each time for the last 5 weeks
the surgery is looking good but i am still numb and it is still painful and swollen to touch

I gained weight since the surgery and cannot seem to lose half a pound even eating only fruit and veg and staying below 1200 calories a day.
this is through no fault of the surgery but it is because i started on birth control pills a few weeks prior.
Hopefully i can find a replacement that will actually let me lose weight instead of gain it so i can see the real results of the surgery :)

I am happy with the results so far, no lumps or uneveness i still have a small bulge at the bottom but its nothing that can not be fixed with exercise. i am not at my goal weight or results yet but this is due to me getting lazy and have not been to the gym for awhile so my results are not perfect yet. it just goes to show with out exercise you will not achieve the results you want

Hey Kelley, I've been following liposuction results for some time now, and I'm confused by your review. I hope you can help me out with some clarity. You mention that without exercise one will not achieve the results they want, but you wrote earlier that WITH exercise up to 5 times a week, (and restricted diet - only fruit and veg, below 1200 calories a day) you couldn't see the real results of surgery. You credit birth control pills for masking your surgical results... so perhaps women on birth control pills (or that might need any kind of hormonal supplements) should be wary of having liposuction? Women of childbearing age, (teens to 40's) and those in their 40's or older heading towards menopause might want to bear this in mind. I understand that it can take a year or more for the fat to regrow on untreated areas of the body. Updating your review (with uncropped photos) for at least five years or more might help give a more comprehensive, long-term perspective. Thanks.

Ok what I meant is that lipo helps eliminate stubborn areas of fat. I got lazy and my lipo seems to be wasted but that's my issue. I plan to return to my exercise routine soon and i will update in a few months with progress. I also have not gained any weight since switching to the iud, Also it depends on the person some women lose weight on bc pills others gain it and others have no difference. but in general what I am saying is to those people who think lipo is the answer and that they think they can not exercise and eat right after then it will not work for you. lipo is mainly for those stubborn areas of fat that just wont go away. Combined with a healthy lifestyle and good exercise routine then it can be worth while. on the plus side my waist has more shape still but i have a little bit of thick skin left over on my muffin top which has not retracted. I hope in a few months when i get back my routine it will tighten up And as for ages I would say anyone under 35 should try diet and exercise first before considering surgery.

I had my second procedure yesterday on my abdomen upper and lower
the first day has been painful to get up and lie down
I am yet to see any bruising from both procedures which is a plus
I hav major itching on my left side, I rub the palm of my hand over it and it goes away for a little while. :)
I am still swollen but I can see a difference in my tummy and flanks already
the pictures I am uploading are from before any procedures, I will update will post op ones soon

I also found out that I had vaser lipo on my flanks and laser lipo on my tummy both cost around $7000
