Time flies!

Well I am have made it to Day 68! Things have still been going very well. I have had minimal swelling, and thankfully have not expreienced any of the dreaded swell hell. (Or at least it wasn't hell). The thing that had bothered me most but has finally went away is the sensitivity in my stomach area from my clothing touching my skin. I do not wear my binder or spanks during the day but I do wear my binder to bed (not sure why). I am back to sleeping on my side which has me really back to normal for the most part. I do have a little discomfort when I sneeze or cough but nothing horrible. Other than that there is really nothing else to repot except that I am loving my new body. I have lost 2 inches off my waist and I am a full size smaller! I told Dr. Lee during my consult that I don't plan on wearing a bikini, he said I might, well I have one! The first real bikini in my adult life! Kinda crazy!!! No regrets except I should have done it sooner!

Moving Along

Thing have been moving along...very slowly. As far as the healing process, I am actually doing very well. I have very little swelling, virtually undetectable unless I'm naked. The thing that still hurts a bit is the places I had lipo. Those areas are still very very sore. I try to massage them every chance I get to hopefully help along the healing process. I am still wearing my hospital binder when I'm al home, which is most of the time, but a purchased one from Walmart to wear out so my clothes do not look so bulky.

I have gotten cabin fever from being in the house, where I was starting to get the blues so I have been trying to get out more, even if just for a walk.

Lastly, I can stand up straight and only feel hunched towards the end of the night when I have been standing too long. I am dreaming of the day I can sleep on my sides again, until then I am still propping myself up with the pillows in my bed. That seems to be the only way I can get comfortable. I have been cleared to workout so tomorrow I am starting Piyo and some running. I am hoping the stretching will help with the tummy tightness.

I hope everyone else is doing well! Happy healing!

I made it!

Well I forgot all about my updates but j made it! Day of the tt I had to be there super early! A few nurses checked me in and reviewed my medical history then it was time to go back. I walked to the operation room and payed on the table. They gave me a sedative and that's all I remember. I woke up on the flat side!

I slept the entire 1 hr ride home. I pretty much slept threw day 1-3, waking only to use the bathroom, eat and take meds. I tried to watch a bit of Tv or talk to my family but I always ended up falling asleep. Lol

I went for my first follow-up on day 3 and I really couldn't see much. My husband said it looks nice. I did notice the area directly above and below my belly button is numb.

I had my first drain out on po day 5 and the second po day 7. After day 2 my drains barely produced fluid. I am also having very little swelling.
I am wearing my binder 24/7 and I must admit I'm not a fan. I am almost standing straight but after sitting awhile I am more hunched over.

Over than tightness, things seem to be moving right along!
