Sorry for the delay.....
I am down 32 pounds since surgery. Tomorrow I my second follow up at the doctor's office. I have been able to keep down most foods I have tried. The only time I had to throw up was when I tried cabbage. It just didn't sit right. I have lots of energy and can't wait to go back to the gym in beginning of June. Right now I suffering with allergies so breathing is a bit of an issue. Not knowing what medications to take is awful. I will ask the doctor tomorrow what I can take.

May 1st, 1 week after surgery feeling great. I went to work on Monday and I was exhausted by 12pm. The post op follow up was yesterday, the doctor was surprised I went work. Now I am on week 2 all liquids with 2oz max 4 to 5 times a day. I can drink water whenever I want provided I stop 30 minutes before.

Congratulations! I know how exciting it is to see the changes although it may be harder for you to notice them right away. Take lots of pictures! I use an iPhone photo app called PicStitch that allows me to put 2 pictures side by side for comparison. The feeling you get when you finally see the little changes and differences is indescribable. Good luck!
Hi John,
How are you doing now it's been another week or so post-op? Are you recovering well?

Day 2 after surgery, and I must say the worst pain I felt was when the doctor took out the drainage tube. It was kinda interesting to see that it was 8 to 10 inches in me. I also started the liquid diet consisting of clear liquids every 30 minutes for 1 week.
