Tray 3 Update

I am a few days from putting in my 4th tray. I had 8 attachments put on with the start for tray 3. There was some pretty good pressure with this tray but no real pain. It is a little wired getting used to the attachments when the trays are out but I got used to it pretty quick. Taking them out is a bit tricky but I have just figured out which teeth and places to pull off first. I am not really seeing much change with my gap space but it is working on reshaping my top bite before it will start to close my gap. I can tell the change with my bite (keeps changing with new trays) so I have to make sure to chew slower so I don't bite the insides of my mouth. The biggest change is one of my front teeth used to be turned (edge stuck out more on the inside of gap towards lips) and now my front teeth are flat and even with each other. And my over bite even though it was small (I have way more cross bite issues) is pretty much gone since it is rounding my top. I am pleased so far and have no regrets.

After debating for some time now if I should spend...

After debating for some time now if I should spend the money to fix my teeth, I took the plunge. I decided to share my experience as it happens, since I have spent many hours reading reviews on hear and following so many peoples progress. I have had a rather large gap since I was little and have had mixed feelings about it. For the most part I had just gotten used to it and it didn't really bother me until about 3 or 4 years ago. I had started to notice my teeth starting to ware uneven (top front tooth and bottom 2) and the bottom has started to crowd. I can handle a gap but not angled teeth too. I started tray 1 of 35 and I'm on day 6. I will admit the first few days where trying. It is mind boggling the you can add something to your month and you forget how to breath through your nose lol. I had the worst dry mouth and chapped lips for 3 days, not to mention the inside of my lips and tongue got destroyed. Thanks to all of the reviews I learned how to file off the sharpe edges. I have been ok with the 21-22 hours of wear so far but I think a lot of that has to do with how much pressure I feel when putting them back in after they are out. Since they have to push my front teeth back (top jaw is more pointed in front, cuased by my cross bite) to round out as it closes my gap my video show my gap will not be closed until tray 19 uhhh seems like forever but hopefully I will at least see some changes sooner. Ortho says I will start seeing more changes after I get 8 attachments before tray 3. No attachments on any of my front teeth at this point so that's a huge plus. I can tell that I am getting more used to them, but know from the reviews it will be a love hate relationship :) I will keep posting pics and progress in hopes that someone will find it useful as I have from so many other reviews.
