I am 38 y/o with 4 children ( 21,19,11,7). I have been living with this horrible stomach for the last 19 years. I have not worn a two piece bathing suit since I was about 4 y/o. My oldest son says im too old for a tummy tuck but I beg the differ. I am so tired of not being able to wear cute (FITTED) clothes. I have been online looking for PS and boy is it a job.. I am torn between having it done in Philly which is so expensive or another state. I

Well the past few days was a f@$&ing mess. The closer the day the more we argue.. he finally tells me he doesn't want me to get the surgery 14hrs before surgery. I am all ready.... to bad so sad!

Omg! The staff was awesome. I got there early.three hospital is being renovated so I didn't know where to go. This little older lady walked me to the floor. She said who's having surgery. Me...with who? Dr Chang. She have me the biggest smile and thumbs up up.. That made happy. before I get my surgery I see her again... I was looking for you. See you on the other side. Saw everybody and then the physician anesthesiologist. I can't remember him giving me anything. This was 7:30 am. When I woke up it was 4:30 pm. I didn't get to see my stomach till later that knight

I have two drains and the pain pump which was a big help along with the recliner. I am taking my needs every 6-8 hrs and milking my drains. I will try to post pictures. Well until next time.

11 DPO finally feeling better. Stomach still numb and trying to ease myself off of these pain meds. I finally #2 on my own. I thought i was going to die. I do have pictures and will post them once i learn how. My phone is not allowing me to do it. So far my results are awesome. i still have both drains which is a pain in my ass. I have a dr. appointment on thursday and i cant wait. i was okayed to take a bath
at my LDV but i am scared. I will continue to sponge bathe.


anyone know if we can drink coffee? lol..... I am fu$&!#

I am a lot of both... not knowing what to really expect. I have reconsidered in my mind over and over. You look Great! I am hoping my surgery goes as well as yours.

It'll be fine hun. You'll never regret doing this, just imagine how fabulous you'll look after it's all done and over with! When I had regrets, I'd go window shopping for bikini's - worked a treat to keep me motivated!

Well I had an appiointment with Dr. Saunders yesterday at1:45. I got there at 12:45. They gave me the papers to fill out and said have a seat. At 1:20 I decided to go up and ask if I was next. The ladies were very sweet. She said there is about another 2 or 3 people in front of you. Now I am figuring he will be at least an hour each person...... i had my money ready to pay and schedule..well I left. Dr. Chang is just around the corner and that is where I went. I am sooo excited!

Ok! Thanks! I wanted to use the credit also instead of paying up front but I am a little nervous about it. My husband keep telling me to pay it all out of pocket but I don't want to be broke at the same time either... I will need a new wardrobe to go along with the new body too...lol

i don't know if he is listed here. I reached out to a few people who were local to me that posted TT reviews here and asked them who they used. When they told me his name, I had trouble locating his website also. But they both gave me excellent reviews on him, so I called the office and even the receptionist was wonderful from my first phone call. I will inbox you his site and phone number.

yes, it's the whole package. I am going to pay it next week... I found a credit card with 15 mo no interest on purchases, PLUS cash back, so i decided to pat for it that way. I have to pay the surgeon, anesthesiologist and hospital as separate transactions, but it all comes to 7200. I was floored by the price. In fact, I asked why they were so low when I was there and they told me that the dc has beeb affiliated with the hospital for so long that he negotiated great rates with them and he passes those rates on to his patients. The other place I went to for a consult was very fancy... fancy couches/chandeliers, fountains, and coffees/snacks in the waiting area... obviously that is all wrapped into the cost of my surgery, ya know?

oh and I get 2 nights in the hospital if I want... but they said most people are ready to go home after the first night.

HI there... Have you made a decision yet? I had a consult in Doylestown and one in Allentown. I am going with the guy in Allentown, based on reviews from a few people here. I'm scheduled for October 18th. I was really comfy with him and he is closer to home for me- I live in the Lehigh Valley, but I was born and raised in Philly. Good luck in your decision.

Hi michtrif.... I actually had an appointment on the 16th in Delaware with Dr. Chang... He was awesome... For 8,500 I will get tt, mr, mt, lipo on flanks back inner thighs and fat injections... I do have another appointment with a Dr. Saunders on the 25th. They are not far from each other. If I don't like Dr. Saunders, I will pay for my surgery with Dr. Chang that day. What is the name of your Dr.? I would like to stay close if its worth it.

I am using Dr. Guarino in Allentown. I was really comfortable with him and his team. He recommended a Lower Body Lift (some call this an extended tummy tuck bc the incision goes completely around my body and he will contour my hips/butt to match my new belly.) The total cost for this plus lipo on my inner thighs is $7200. For just the TT it was $5300.

Thanks for replying! I have an appointment in NY at Lenox hospital on Wednesday. The prices are really reasonable but I was thinking about transportation for my first couple visits. Will it be tolerable and worth it. I did go to one consult and was advised that I needed muscle tightening and lipo along with my tt at 8,200 until 9/1 after then it will go to 9,200 so I need to make a decision quick.

What state did you have in mind? Remember the best surgeons tend to practice in major metro areas although I am sure there are exceptions to this rule. I have two friends who have both had surgery w/ a ps in Wyomissing, PA. He went to Penn. Search for him on google by typing in "wyomissing plastic surgery". You are not too old!
