6 weeks post op

I'm 6 weeks out and my shape looks good. I'm holding steady at a 32" waist and 45"hips. I still have some swelling in my stomach so I hope when that goes down and I lose my targeted 15 lbs, my waist will be at 30". I'm still five lbs over my surgery day weight, but my doc says that could very well be water. I'm am cleared for the gym so I'm gonna start my strength training (squats and lifting.) My only issue right now is a lump on the lower part of my stomach. It probably is a fluid pocket because my compression wasn't tight enough. I am massaging it daily, using arnica and compressioning tightly, so it's getting better. Another follow up appt in 2 weeks (doc does it day after, week after, month after, 8 weeks after, etc) if the lump still looks crazy, I'll ask about lancing or touch up options.

Feeling good and looking good

What a difference time makes! I am almost at my two week post op mark and my shape changes daily, FOR THE BETTER. My measurements are now 42-32-45. I should have updated my measurements right before surgery because I had 41inch hips right before I went in. I am so happy with the contouring that he did and I know my waist will get even smaller. My bottom belly is still swollen. The top is under control because I wear a cinched most of the day. My booty is still firm, just not a hard as it used to be. The itchiness is going away. I'm guessing the anti-itch cream is working. I still feel numbness on certain parts of my stomach and sharp pains on other sides, but I know it's part of the healing process. My outfits consist of stretch jeans, sweatpants and leggings...lol! I won't be buying anything till all the swelling goes down and that's fine because I work from home and no one will see me in this in between stage anyway. I was sitting for small amounts of time here and there till I realized I was getting flat spots on the bottom of my cheeks towards the crack. Man....I panicked thinking I ruined the investment, lol! Now I sit backwards on chairs with my butt pooched all the way out. Haha! Those boppies and yoga mats did nothing for me except make my legs go numb. My next doc appoint is the 1 month post op, but don't expect any issues.
