How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.
If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

2 and 1/2 weeks post-op
I went back to work 2 weeks post-op. I am lucky because my job is mental, not physical. I sit in a cubicle. The only difficulty was walking up the stairs, which is my norm. I opted for the elevator.
I have stopped napping and don't need pain meds. I am sleeping much better since I can be on my side more comfortably. I still sleep with my compression garment because I feel secure.
I am swollen, but very pleased with my results. I am now wondering what procedure to do next!

One week post-op
I can't believe how fast a week has gone by. The hardest part for me is remembering I just had surgery and cannot do too much or as quickly as I used to. I am sleeping much better now. I have no pain, just discomfort from the binder. I looked at the suture line day 1 and today and I see a vast improvement so that makes me smile :-) PS told me by week 6 I can buy new clothes which was my goal.
drains removed
I saw the doctor today and he took out the one remaining drain. The other came out on it's own. I am sure I will have a better night's sleep tonight. I am allowed to shower today. I am becoming a normal person again. Well, other than having to wear the compression garment. One step at a time, this is a recovery after all.
