I won't describe the procedure again since many have and it is exactly the same steps.
I would like to add to it the following: Doctor suggested antibiotic 2 days before the procedure for a week. I believe it helped with preventing the bacteria infection since I have previous history with infections under my arm. I believe it helped as a proactive measure.
The pain subsided dramatically 2 days after the procedure. I used balloons for cooling, yes, you heard it, I filled it up with water, freeze it and you get a perfectly fitting ice packs that can last for long time!
it's almost 10 days post procedure, the burning acute pain is gone, yet it is still swollen, bumpy and it hurts but it is bearable pain.
The procedure was done in Peau clinic Montreal, the doctor is so nice, the technician Veronica is such a sweetheart, chatting all the time as to distract me.
I also appreciated that the reception called me 2 days before the procedure to remind me of antibiotics, and called me 2 days after to check on how am doing. It's amazing way to treat clients. The clinic looks professional and i appreciated the trendy music hits that was played during the procedure (the kind of songs u can sing a long and rock to it! ;)
I had procedure done on levels 1 and 3. Guess it is lower than what was described in other reviews but am happy and 5 days post procedure i was up and about and even working out.
I recommend the procedure, compared to what i was going through, I would take a month of pain versus hopefully a life time of relief. Will go back to my second treatment in May.
And Nop, not a sweat drop since then, even while working out!
