5 weeks post op tomorrow!

Tomorrow will be 5 weeks for me! I am feeling so much better! My skin is no longer burning. I still have no sensation on my left nipple but do on the rest of the breast. I just got a new bra and it's amazing. I wish I had know about it from the beginning. It's the Annette ST 143. The side support is great. My PS wanted something to bring my girls in more from the sides and this seems to be doing the job.

Day 19 post op

Has anyone out there having crashing nipple sensation around three weeks? My right nipple hurts and the skin around it burns to the touch. I take Tylenol for the pain but it barely touches it. I see my PS on Friday so hopefully he will have some answers for me. My sutures have started to come off and I'm healing pretty nicely. I have not gone for a bra fitting yet but I did try some DD's and they fit pretty good.

Increased pain but hanging in there

Today has been tough. Tylenol was just not cutting it for me so I had to call my doctor and he called in Tylenol#3. Even with that I am still uncomfortable. I just realized that although I have a hysterectomy I am still ovulating so my breast are taking a hit. I'm hoping its that and if it is this pain should subside in the next for days.

Dr. Ferraro is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!!!. He is a true Gem in his field! I am 36 years old and I know I will need other things done in the future, and I have found my guy! He was actually the first PS I interviewed with and I'm so glad I picked him to be my surgeon. Dr. Ferraro is extremely professional, knowledgable and extremely thorough. When we first met he took his time with me and answered all my questions. We also met a second time and had another phone session. His staff is also very kind, caring and readily available! The day of my surgery he pulled up his chair next to my bed and asked me to stand where he immediately got to work and meticulously did all his markings. He was very quiet, thorough and focused. I thought... darn he's so focused...I can't get a word through to him today and I'm so nervouse...ha. Then I have read horrors on here on how some ladies have one areola turn out bigger than the other or not symmetrical. Or one breast higher then the other....yikes! Thank God for Dr Ferraro and for following my gutt and sticking with him!
