I originally had 300cc saline breast implants...

I originally had 300cc saline breast implants placed under the muscle in February 2000. They were perky at first, but quickly settled. They have always felt wide and lacking projection. But, I have always been told that they look natural. I have a good amount of natural breast tissue. I was a 34c initially and 34d post augmentation.
Fast forward 15 years, one pregnancy, and 21 months of breastfeeding to today. I'm ready to have my implants switched out! I was already sold on the silicone impant option, but wasn't 100% sure about needing a lift. My nipple is at the inframammory crease meaning that I have grade 0 pytosis (aka sagging). However, this time around I am no longer interested in a natural result. I am going for "artistically augmented!" Lol. I don't want people to wonder if they are real. I want them to want my plastic surgeons name and number!
I am using Dr. Juan Brou. He comes highly recommended by many of my friends and family, whom are past patient's of him. I had my consult on March 6, 2015. He confirmed that I would be needing a full breast lift. Along with Sientra moderate plus textured implants in order to achieve the desired result. I do not want to increase my bra size any, as I am currently a 36dd or ddd (depending on the bra). Dr. Brou will use somewhere between 300cc and 485cc implants. I'm leaving it to his discretion whether to place one larger implant or reduce one breast to correct the asymmetry. I'm not getting worry or hung up on cc's. I'm just allowing the good Dr. to work his magic and make the girls pretty again!
My surgery is scheduled for March 30, 2015. I will update after surgery!

Surgery is done!!

Just got home from the surgery center. Things went well. I'm super happy to be out of my husbands SUV and into my comfy bed! I will post a more detailed update late when I'm feeling a little more up to it. I just wanted everyone to know I survived!

Post op appointment done

Overall, recovery hasn't been too bad. I anticipated much worse. After my first augmentation, I was unable to lift myself up out of bed for about 2 days. This time I haven't had any trouble moving or getting up independently. Yesterday 2 hours after we got home I was up and around making myself a sandwich. I continue to be suprised how awake I was all day yesterday. After any other procedures that I had in the past, I've been super sleepy all day. However, I was awake, alert and oriented all day! I ended up sleeping all night only getting up a few times to use the bathroom or take my medications.
Today was my post op with Dr. Brou. They removed my ace wrap and applied a sports bra. I didn't require any drains or top strap (thank goodness). I am very swollen on my entire abdomen and upper back. I got some arnica cream to rub on my torso after my shower. I got the go ahead to start taking motrin 800mg every 8 hours plus soma to help relax the muscles. I feel mostly tightness and soreness, instead of actual pain. I was originally prescribed Lortab 7.5mg 1-2 pills every 4-6 hours as needed. I'm going to try to just use the NSAIDS and the muscle relaxer and see how today goes.
We ended up using 350cc on the right side and 365cc on the left to correct the assymetry. The right side is slightly puckered because of the internal pocket he created to help support the implant. This will even out as the swelling decreases.
I have another follow up appointment in 2 weeks. I will post more pictures in a few days once I'm able to try on some cute tops and swimsuits!
