WORTH IT$1,800

Hello! I had a breast augmentation 3 years ago. I have since had a back injury which I have chosen to get them removed now. I have 300cc saline implant under the muscle with the incision under my breasts. I went from an A to a C. I am very active and they have only hindered my performance. I simple want them removed and nothing else; no lift or revisions of any kind for now. I am in my early 20's and take very good care of my body so I am not concerned for the negative outcomes for now keeping it positive! I had them done in Wichita, KS. I have since moved to Oklahoma City and and looking at doctors here. I have narrowed it down to a few and I have a consultation soon with Dr. Jones. I apologize I do not have before and after pictures really but I have some pictures. I would love and feedback on experiences, doctors, and especially pricing!!!

Welcome myzzmarie, girl its quite a ride to pick & price an explantation. Then there are things like location of, like hospital to office to surgi-center. Capsulectomy or not. And make sure the PS is board certified! I ended up going back to my original PS, experience & $! I had quotes from 10,000 (out of state) not counting flight or stay! To $800! to be awake do a local in office, get shots cut, puncture implants, pull out sew up, sent on your way!!! I'm getting explanted & capsulectomy $1,350.00 surgeon has his own surgery center & includes surgi-bra & all follow up visits. Good luck, and be mindful of your health over the cost, I will pray for your success in this journey. Take care & know you are not alone in this!

You will have. Good result...you haven't had them in too long and you are young so your skin will bounce back. I'm glad that you are doing this while you are young. I had my BA done almost 30 years ago...of course they are silicone...having explant on April 12th...two more days! You will love your natural look which I think looks so much better than implanted breasts.

Hi Mzzmarie! I think you will find this site very informative; somewhat more so than your PS. At least that was my experience. You are very young and I don't think you'll need a lift at all. Something you should be prepared about though; a lot of us on this site have gone through it: your PS and possibly the nurses/office staff may try to talk you into replacing your implants or tell you that you will be unhappy without them. Don't listen to them! Do what YOU want to do. It is so annoying when others think they know what's better for you. I think you look so much better with your natural breasts. Because you are quite active I'm think you'll be pleased to get them out so you can enjoy whatever activities you like; running, cycling, yoga, weights, etc. I just got mine out on the 4th of April and I feel amazing! I'm 46 and I had 500 cc saline under the muscle for 5 years. My skin is already bouncing back nicely. I paid just under $3k for my removal. I had local anesthetic with IV sedation. My surgery was only about 30 minutes. The PS made about a one inch incision in the crease of the breast, punctured the implants, drained them and pulled them out. I didn't need any pain meds other than Tylenol and I only took that for 2 days. I think you'll find a lot of valuable information all the different posts on this site, I know I did. Good luck to you!

Sorry about your back injury and I hope you are healing from that. SR1207 said it perfectly!! be informed and ready to stand your ground on what you want. I visited PS until I found the one that listened to my needs and he did an amazing job. I am 3 weeks post op today and loving my body. I had my silicone, under muscles for 23 years and even at 52 my body has been forgiving. This site and the wonderful people on it will help you through this incredible journey. Best of luck to you.

Ok so I met with Dr. Jones today and I absolutely love him! He was empathetic to me situation with my back and the fact that I only want them removed. After explaining the procedure he simple said if I wanted implants in the future it would be possible, it was a very classy way to say that it was a possibility shall I want them again. We decided to do local anesthesia and no drains yay!!! I am doing the surgery mid may just have not set a date but I am so unbelievably excited and I feel comfortable with him as my surgeon. He was much more supportive than my original doctor. Ready to do it!!! Ill keep updates!

You look so much like my cousin! lol :-) Congrats on finding a PS! Does your PS think removing the implants will help with your back pain? I had burning, achey pain between my shoulder blades that I always assumed was due to poor posture and sitting at the computer, but a few months after removal I noticed that pain was gone! Good luck myzzmarie!

Its mainly to get the extra weight off...I have two herniated and dehydrated discs in my low back so it will help take stress off. I am excited to see how much it helps!

Hey Myzzmarie, wishing you well with your upcoming surgery. I have similar sized implants to you , under the muscle also and will be getting them removed in about three weeks. I'm late 20's so here's hoping our youthful skin will bounce back and give excellent results. Good luck, let us know how you get on.
