I am now on my 4th day post implant removal. Aside from a very minimal discomfort on the incision,never felt better about myself in a long time. The skin on the breast is loose, but I hope that it will tighten as days go by. If I had to choose between the implants and my my present breasts even at its state right now , I'll take the latter anytime .

The implants that my plastic surgeon put in was a lot larger than I wanted. I immediately wanted them out as soon As I saw myself in the mirror. What really stopped me from another surgery, was that, I had a hard time waking up from the general anaesthesia and as per my husband I gave the surgical team a scare. So for years, I wore minimizer bras, sport bras that were very uncomfortable. I came across real self and read a lot about doctor's comments and other women's experiences. It gave me the incentive to read more about Implant removal, and the courage to go through it under local anaesthesia. I am so happy I did it . I love my real breasts.
