REAL Review on Dr Shahine - New York

Ok so let me just say ... I am human and I completely changed my mind on Dr Shahine . Long story short I had surgery two years ago . Paid a lot of money . I chose him because I felt comfortable with him and felt I would have the best results with him . Compared to other consultations I went to with other doctors Doctor shahine charged me double . But , I liked his work , convinced my father and went ahead with him . (By the way I am in debt still paying off my dad for the cash ) I too like many ladies here had issues with my surgery , BUT I was not given any post op care or direction so it makes sense now . After trying to see him for post op appt for over a year it became frustrating . Calling the office , them telling you to come in ..and no doctor . My father drove hours with me and waited long long hours still no doctor . I was frustrated because I felt he took my money and didn't care . UNTIL yesterday I went to see him I called him directly and let him know my problem . He try to say why didn't I call him earlier and make appointment directly but I honestly had no idea I had to do that to see him . Everytime I went for post care I would wait hours and never get seen that's why I was mad and that's what I don't like . After finally being able to see him and talking to him , I must say I admire Dr shahine . He spend over 30 minutes with me addressing my concerns . And explaining what needed to be done post care . Had I known everything he told me ahead of time , my results would've been better than they are now .i was informed too late and addressed to him . I do however feel it was unfair about the results had I received post op visit from him before I wouldn't be like this with my results and probably a lot happier , but again I did not know to directly tell him hello I am here , so now I know and thankfully no more waiting so long . I had a baby few months ago so I stopped coming trying for an appointment but now I was getting fed up and decided to go . After speaking with him , Dr shahine is a caring man in my opinion . I used to think otherwise . I feel he is going to help me and want to help me and not feel like my money is wasted . I have a few problem areas due to lack of miscommunication and no post op care bc his office very busy , so I'm hoping he can fix few rolls and advise me or fix a little bulge I have an issue with .this man works so hard , I came home and thought about every single thing he told me . I imagined myself how tired I am from an 8 hour work day coming home to take care my son and being exhausted . This man works 24/7 has no time to eat drink , nothing .he continues and is passionate about his work . he seems caring person . His confidence is something I myself wish to have one day , in a work manner . Compared to what I was before I can't imagine being how I used to be . I don't eat junk and try to maintain my weight but I am trying to lose more now. I hope he has the heart I believe he has to work with me . After all I did pay a lot . I used to be like girls on here who were mad and frustrated at him . It's not him ... I CAN ASSURE YOU and even told him myself , it's his staff . They are running a unorganized place .i feel if his staff was more professional and he maybe booked less surgery / and his staff was able to schedule with post op care and not lie , I feel his office would be run fantastic : it's all about how you treat a patient with care and making them feel comfortable . That's the biggest problem he has is his office , which in his case he is extremely busy man with his hands full all day . So my point is ,don't bash the doctor . I know it's hard trying to get follow ups , but look at me I finally got my follow up and I feel more happy in speaking to the doctor . He knows what he's talking about I just wish I would've known what he tells me before the surgery and not now . He is human . He is understanding and not a monster like some people take to the extreme !! I can tell you if you maybe try to contact him personally and be patient you might see what can be done if your unhappy . But his curves really do say it all even though I have some problem areas , when I wear clothes my curves are noticeably there and look great . It's just rolls from me not knowing post op care and small bump which I hope can be done . I can never see myself again how I was . I think sometimes how would've been with other doctor I would've saved money and been happier but after talking t shahine I feel otherwise . Working in nyc, busy hundreds of patients . Being away from your family weekly , in and out of surgeries , it must be hard on him . Yes this is his job and you feel after your money taken he doesn't care but he cares . It's just his staff and lack of communication because he is so busy . He did many celebs which look amazing , anyone who says they don't look good is lying . I am a real perso reviewing him and although I felt different before I recommend him . I recommended two of my friends two weeks after my surgery two years ago . I will update you ladies after I see him in a few weeks three weeks to see what can be done in my situation . Whatever happens , happens . I am being realistic as to how I was previous . He is caring and kind I am giving me whole heart opinion . I left feeling bad for the mean things I felt toward him . Trust me I can read vibes . DONT give up try to speak with him make it your priority to keep calling until you get seen after all you paid money . Respect this man and his work . Respect his knowledge and kindness .his hard work and results .
