Well I can't believe its been so long since I started this. I am very happy I did not everything went or turned out the way I expected but I can honestly say I am more confident and 100% happy I did this. I am absolutely in live with my new breasts lol! I was on the fence about then but they are a-mah-zing! My stomach is doing well and I know in even more time scars with fade swelling with fade and it will be so much better than what I ended up with after pregnancy geeze it already is ;) I tried working out but I feel so weak and my and get sore. I see my ps next week for the first time since surgery(seen the nurse twice) in 9 wks. Strange I know :| hopefully but next weekend I will back into the exercise to tone this tummy!

Today is my first really down day :( I am starting to hate my belly button so much. It looks to me more like a half outtie on top with a little innie on the bottom. The scar on the bottom half is inside so you can't even see it but the top is on the outside and quite noticeable. Is this normal for 4 wks for it to still be so swollen and the scar so noticeable. My tummy tuck scar looks better to me than the belly button scar. I just started using mederma 4 days ago I'm hoping that will help with the scar but what about the overall look of it :( I feel like I may as well kept the sagging skin I still won't be able to wear a bikini if my belly button stays like this!

I would talk to your PS about a possible revision. It will have to wait until you are fully healed, but it will most likley before bikini season :)
I'm hoping it looks better when everything is settled. Thanks :)
I'm so sorry you are feeling this way. Big (((hugs))). Have you discussed this with your PS?
Thanks no I haven't I don't see him for another 4 wks. I feel stupid for calling and taking time from them. They are over an hr away so I wouldn't be able to just make the trip. I asked a question on here though and so far the replys have been that is normal. So that's making me a feel alittle better :)
You look incredible!!!!
Thank you! You do as well! I'm starting to feel more confident as time passes things start to look better haha
You look FANTASTIC!!!! I hope my results are half as great!
Thanks Hun :) I can't wait until I'm about 6 months post op to get a better idea of what the results will be. It's a long struggle but so far its already worth it. I hope everything goes as planned for you as well!!!

It's been awhile since I have had the chance to post. I will be 3 weeks post op tomorrow which I am so excited for! My ps said I can take my binder, steri strips off then and switch to a regular bra with no underwire. I have seen a few ladies on here who have worn the binder and strips longer, wondering if maybe I should continue those a little longer? My scar looks great a pencil thin line and its not even red! However there is a scab in the middle and I was told this will heal like any other scab you would have. My belly button scar is still light red and I can't wait for it to lighten, this is what I am most worried about!

That is awesome. I'm sure your BB will lighten more as the time passes.
Thanks it isn't very deep either, some of it almost seems flag :/
I'm sorry. Mine too. Would you mind posting a pic of it?
I posted a pic!
Mine looked like that. It could be that you are very swollen. Have you talked to your ps about using earplugs? I used earplugs (cut in half) and a quarter taped over it because the earplugs would just pop out. lol After my swelling went down, bb was no longer as flat and out. To be honest, whenever my body gets swollen it starts to look like that again and I then go back to using the earplug and quarter.
I don't go back in to see him until January 17th, do you think that would be to long to wait? I definitely am swollen I had my jeans done up for a minute and I had the button imprint and everything else into my skin and they aren't even right jeans lol I need to go pick up a cream to lighten my scar I was thinking mederma? Thanks :)
I'm not sure if it would be too late or not. I would think, but don't know for sure. Why don't you call your PS. I'm sure he or someone in his office can advise you on what to do. With the scars, I'm not sure either. I've read that mederma is real good and has worked great for some, but I haven't tried it myself. To be honest I haven't used anything yet. I just make sure to always wear the tape because my PS stated that would help with the scars and so far mine are getting really light and smooth. Someone also advised me on Palmer's Oil (http://www.palmers.com/product/detail.php?ID=74&SID=6) and it's not expensive.
Okay thanks! I will have to call and find out
Hey! Soooo...how does it compare to a csection or engorement? Wishing you a fast recovery!
Definitely easier than a section, for me anyways. I've been very surprised at how little pain I've had, really none concerning my tummy tuck except for a little tenderness when my underwear rub a certain spot of my scar. I do think the boobs are worse than engorged boobs but still not even close to being painful like I thought. The only thing that bugs me is when I wake up they feel stiff and kinda sore so I just massage them for a minute and then they feel fine again!
Looking good :)
Thanks!!
