I know how difficult it can be trying to decide on...

I know how difficult it can be trying to decide on a procedure and then choosing a surgeon. I have found blogs by others incredibly useful in my decision making process, so wanted to make write this post to help anyone else considering Vaser HD.

I was a skinny kid until i got to secondary school where i ate chips for lunch every single day for 6 years! The Jamie Oliver revolution only happened in my last year at school, so was a little too late for me. As a result i finished school a lot fatter than before i started.

In my late teens early 20's i lost a lot of weight but didnt do any exercise as a result i never lost the layer of fat covering my chest and abdomen. At one point i got so skinny people thought i might have an eating disorder, but even at this stage i still had a fat stomach.

At around 24 i started working out and lifting weights. Three years later, im now 27, i have a much more "manly shape", i was never aiming for too much bulk, so overall i was pretty happy with my progress, but even 4 gym sessions a week couldnt shift the fat on my stomach. This is when i started to look in to Vaser HD.

I chose Dr Bassi from Selston clinic in Nottingham because of the results posted on his blog as well as his competitiveness in comparison to other quotes i received. So far i have not regretted my decision in the slightest.

Dr Bassi and Mags are 2 incredibly down to earth people who really understand why people opt for this surgery. As soon as i arrived for the procedure it felt like i was talking to friends. In an odd way i kind of enjoyed the procedure!

Apart from the anaesthetic the procedure was completely painless, its not something i would worry about doing again. I felt very little pain post surgery and was back at work 2 days later.

The most important thing i have learnt about this procedure is that it is in effect a two step process. Firstly you have the actual procedure but then there is your after care which is literally equally important.

As soon as i stood up from the operating table i saw an incredibly lean torso and the outline of a 6 pack, exactly what i wanted, but without the right aftercare you can loose the definition completely.

Its almost as if after with this procedure your body is like slowly setting clay. You have to massage and shape the definition daily to ensure it sets the way you want it. Ive been massaging myself with an ultrasound machine i got off Ebay and seeing a professional therapist 3 times a week.

You can see from the pictures that i started to loose definition around a week after surgery, it was partly swelling, but also because i want being firm enough the massages. I had a follow up 1 1/2 weeks after surgery and the definition the next day after being massaged by Mags was unreal. So far ive managed to keep it up, it just shows how important the massages are. As they say if its nit hurting its mot working!

Ill update more posts as i progress.

Right now i cant wait to get in the gym to build on the results.
