Disadvantage was it took almost a week for the new skin to peel off, so staying in for almost a week was not easy. But the procedure got rid of blothches that I've had on my face for a very long time, besides tightening it also. , I didn't realize this until I look at pictures of my face before the procedure.
Afterwards, it is a very good idea to to protect the skin from the sun, by wearing sunscreen, hat, etc., so the sun won't damage the new skin.
