Best Summer Ever!
This is the best thing I have ever done for myself! I've been bathing suit shopping and in a bathing suit more than I ever have in my entire life. For anyone on the fence or battling whether this something to vain or selfish to do, change your thinking! My confidence has improved and I've never felt more like a woman. My husband is definitely benefiting! lol! I'm so grateful to my doctor. I'm continuing the scar treatment but otherwise feel really healed. I finally went to VS to get sized and the Body by Victoria wireless is 34D. PERFECT! :) I hope everyone else if having a great summer!!

Tapes are off!
Second post op today and the tapes are gone! Will be able to start massaging in two weeks. Funny how much the tapes made me feel "protected". So exposed now! They have some scab healing to do still so I'm putting a 50/50 mixture of hydrogen peroxide and water with antibiotic ointment for the next few days. They are very sensitive, which is apparently a good sign that I'll have natural nipple sensations when I'm healed. A little bit of numbness on the left but it seems to be because my skin had to stretch so much more than the right. Time will tell… He did a "Hollywood" type stitch under the skin so I'll only have line scarring. A little bit of stitch showing above the skin will dissolve eventually. Once the scars set I'll start a 2x/day cream called bioCorneum. I purchased the small bottle from PS office for $35. I don't scar too badly so I'm hoping just this will do the trick. I might not tan very well with this light, freckled skin but at least I can have minimized scarring! My next visit will be one month from now. So excited what these next few weeks will bring. It's been great getting back to my routine. Time to get back to my four mile walks. I've missed that… Also looking forward to six weeks post op so I can start strength training. Need to get bikini bod ready now that I have these beauties! LOL! :)
