I simply couldn't wait to write this very detailed review because Dr. Morrison is truly an outstanding Physician and Surgeon and his esthetic eye is superb! I also hope to help other patients in their decision making process because other detailed reviews helped me make mine.
A little background on my surgery and what justifies my opinion: I went to see Dr. Morrison to correct a Brazilian Butt Lift done 10 years ago by Dr. Thomas Roberts III who, at the time and before his retirement, was one of the top BBL surgeons. Dr. Roberts' microfat grafting technique was flawless with about 99% fat survival rate (except from the swelling, my butt has had the same size the day after my surgery in 2004 as it did 10 years later), but my butt looked like the kind of butt where you can tell the person had BBL: 2 HUGE round Basket Balls (worst than the worstestest Ghetto booty lol) instead of an attractive inverted heart shaped butt; esthetically not pleasing at all like I see on many BBL before and after pics.
I was very worried about doing another surgery (BBL can be a very tough surgery to go through because of the recovery from multiple liposuction sites and the draining from the fat injections), so I spent a year doing my research. I met or spoke with 3 of the top BBL surgeons whom most BBL candidates research: Dr. Jimerson in ATL, Dr. Mendietta and Dr. Salama in Miami (DR was out of question for me although I was impressed with the work Dra Yily and Duran are doing but my rule has been that I only want to get operated on by a Physician who is US Board Certified as a Plastic Surgeon which means an MD who is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons/FACS, a Member of the American Board of Plastic Surgery/ABPS and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons/ASPS).
So after my research on realself and google in general, I decided to make an appointment with Dr. Morisson whose credentials are impressive (Dr. Morisson is a FACS, he is Board certified as a Plastic Surgeon by the ABPS and a member of the ASPS which are the 3 credentials patient MUST absolutely look for in a plastic surgeon in the US and which means he is NOT like some eye doctors, obgyn or dermatologists who practices plastic surgery because it's more lucrative although they might not have the required credentials).
It was a great consultation and he immediately saw what I was talking about and understood exactly what I wanted corrected. He drew where he was going to take fat out and where he was going to add it. He went beyond the butt into the thighs and was looking at the correction not just about the butt but about the whole lower body shape which speaks volume about his esthetic eye!
I booked my surgery a few months after my consultation and his 2 patient coordinators did a fantastic job organizing my surgery and helping me with how to find accommodations since I was coming from out of town. The day of the surgery, Dr. Morrison was there at 7 AM sharp and spent 30 mn with me drawing the lipo/injections areas and discussing the final details with me. He and the team at the Hospital showed great bedside manners and the Anesthesiologist, Dr. Wells was very professional yet warm and she explained what drug she was going to use, that she was going to monitor me for the entire surgery and how the anesthesia was going to happen.
I am now one week after my surgery, went for my post surgery visit and the results are GORGEOUS! I now have a beautiful natural looking butt (Beyonce type inverted heart with a small waist and curvy hips and thighs) which completely and dramatically corrected the fake looking butt I have been walking around with for 10 years. I truly wish I had done it sooner! Thank you Dr. Morrison! And to quote another one of his patients: He does have magic hands!
