12 Weeks post op!!!

I know it has been awhile since I have been on here so I thought I better post some pics while I am at it! I am currently 12 weeks post op and still LOVING my results!!! I go in next week for final measurements and pictures, so I can't wait for that. I have been working out pretty consistently for the last 4-5 weeks I started off walk/running and then it got colder out so I switched to inside stuff. I have been doing 30 minutes of Insanity for the last 3 weeks about 4-5 times a week. I still wear my compression top during the days but not during exercise, which might be the issue that I have questions about. For some reason I am weighing more now than I did before my surgery. I'm not for sure if it is the exercise causing swelling or if I am eating to much sodium in my diet or if it is something else. I feel like I have been doing pretty well on eating the right foods (not over doing anything). I guess that will be a question I have for my doctor next week. But to tell you the truth I am very very happy with me doing the tummy tuck and would not take it back at all!

Update 12 days post op...

Feeling great! I have been off of the pain pills since Friday which would of been 9 days post op. My bowels are back to normal. I love being able to sleep in my bed again. The only thing is that it feels really weird trying to lay on my side. The side I wasn't to sleep on has my drain in it still. My drain output today was 25 cc's and talked to nurses and I'm suppose to call in Thursday to make sure it stays below 25 then I can come in that day to have it removed!! I am really surprised how black and blue I am. My butt and it looks like it is running down the back and sides of my legs. Was not expecting that I guess. Did get to go on a walk today. Felt good just awkward in the stomach core area. I'm feeling like my binder needs to be tighter but there is no way on this one to tighten it. So I am wondering if I will get a new one when I go in on Thursday. Love being able to wear jeans again! Really makes me excited when there is room in my waist area and I am still swollen! I hope to find out how much they did rove as well. Thanks to all that have followed my progress!

3 days post op and I am feeling really good. I...

3 days post op and I am feeling really good. I have been trying to keep myself from doing too much around the house. Feel tightness around midsection (of course!). Which was much needed. I have always known I wanted to have a tummy tuck. My husband was the one who finally pushed me to do something for myself. He knew that I was unhappy with my figure since having my beautiful boys and how it was hindering my exercise routine with my flap hitting and rubbing while I ran. Not to mention my own self esteem.

My husband and I were really impressed with Dr. Atchinsen. He was very interested in my thoughts and how I felt about certain things. He also gave me ideas about what would make the tummy tuck look better.
