Hello everyone! I was sleeved on March 9th :) I wake relazing I done it! I finally done it!! No turning back!! The second day was the worst day so much pain!!! More gas than anything. I was just released from the hosptial today so a longer stay but I think it was for the best!! Still have a lot of gas pains but getting up and moving around helps. I started out weighing 253 had to do a 2 week liquid diet before surgery ( I did cheat but not much at all) from the 2 week pre op diet to date of surgery I had lost 12 pounds total. As of Today I weigh 236 with a total loss of 17 pounds!! Right now I in take water, powerade zero, sugar free Popsicles, sugar free jello and chicken broth. I am so ready to move to the next stages and get to feeling better!!! Let me here ur story or any suggestions :)
On 2 week liquid diet!!!
I am on my 3rd day of liquid diet! It is a struggle. Luckily I have a really good support group from my husband and family. Any suggestions on what to eat and what kept you full the longest? Thanks
Insurance approved date is set for 3/9/15!!
I have already went for my upper GI and blood work now this is my last week of eating and next week I start my 2 week liquid diet!!! I have caught a cold this week :( hoping to go to dr and get rid of it by next week!!! I'm excited for the surgery and a lil nervous about the liquid diet before the surgery! I wanted to update!
