Just couple of weeks ago i was asking questons about how smart is it to go to India for a rhinoplasty due to a low budget. Well, 95% of people were trying to convience me it's not smart. But i still did it, because I had a feeling about it and i did a research before going. I CAN'T DESCRIBE HOW HAPPY I AM ABOUT DECISION I MADE! I am 5 days post operative and cast is off. Nose is still swollen (not much i was so scared of that part) but i can clearly see the results! They are great!

That was my diagnose after doctor saw my pictures:

"We saw pictures of Anastassiya. She requires complete make-over because she has long nose with slight hump at the dorsum. Her nasal tip is bulbous and the nostrils are asymmetrical. The columella is also deviated.

Open-tip approach is best for her. This will give excellent view of her nasal framework. The length of nose can be reduced to desired size appropriate to her overall face. The bulbous tip needs refinement by trimming cartilages. The hump needs reduction and septoplasty will help in correcting septal deviation. The nostril asymmetry also needs to be addressed. Nasal packs for 48 hours and splint for a week should suffice. Hospital stay of 3 days and after discharge an additional 4-5 days stay in the city for follow ups will be appropriate for her septo-rhinoplasty surgery."

The price $2300 included:
1) Pre operative investigations, Consultations and Follow Up.
2) Surgery, surgeon’s fees, Anesthetists Fees, Drugs and Consumables.
3) 3 days stay in the hospital and in India--in an AC deluxe room affixed with TV, cable, phone line
4) Food for your total stay.
5) Airport pickup and drop.

I found this doctor through a provider - They recommended him and I traveled to India with their help. (VISA, airport pick up, accomodation etc) I was very nervous and at first almost changed my mind about surgery when I got there but after i met Dr. I all doubts were gone! Sweetest person, he made me feel so comfortable and safe, answered all my questions and I had surgery next day after speaking to him. He has great sence of humor and puts you at ease in no time. There is no words how pleased I am with his services and the result i see so far.

Your nose looks amazing so far! just those subtle changes made a big difference. I'm sure it's just going to get better. I will definitely be looking into this Doctor. Of you don't kind me asking, how much did you pay for your round trip plane ticket?

I agree. I've heard about being between a certain age as the right time to have surgery Something like 20-35. But i've heard of people in their 60s going for it. If you don't like your nose at 20, you probably won't like it at 60.

London, I got my nose job at 27 and felt the same way. But I'm 42 now, and believe me, you will care ALL the way through. Do it now.

I wont choose him. I don't have a long nose with a good tip like yours. I have almost no tip, hence my nose is flabby and round. I chose a doc who specialises in tips. So becareful which surgeon u choose. some surgeons r good with long noses, and they are definitely not good with asian noses who require tips construction.

Hi, It's good that you are pleased with the result of your nose surgery. I had mine in the UK in a private hospital several years ago. After searching for a reputable surgeon, I too asked why there were no photographs on his website of his work; he said because every case is different he cannot tell exactly how each one would look afterwards hence providing photographs would give people a false idea of what theirs would look like. Makes sense I guess. If you're considering it, definately search around and don't just go for what is cheapest. Aim to wait about two weeks for swelling and brusing to go down enough to see how it would look. At five days after surgery my nose was swollen and I worried because it looked weird. Turned out brilliant. For two years afterwards you'll still have a bit of "loose" skin that you can pull upwards, it isn't flabby or anything, just shows how much bone/cartilage they removed, this shrinks to normal so don't worry. If you have lots of blackheads on your nose, the surgery can take a little longer as the skin on the nose is thicker. I was told this afterwards. Oh just a bit of a warning, sometimes they use sterlie gauze below your nasal passages that when you start to be able to smell again (about 2 to 4 days later) it stinks!! You may also look like a hamster for a few days after, I know I did, luckily I didn't have any brusing or swelling around my eyes. I have no problems with people going abroad, I would probably do so now if I had to pay myself. But you will have a nose cast on for about 5 to 7 days so don't expect to go sunbathing. Shopping is fine I guess. Hope some of this is helpful!

Ana, can you upload a clear pic of your face pre-surgery (not close-ups)so we can see clear before and after pics of your nose. I think he's done a great job. I am interested in this procedure I think it makes a world of difference to ones face. But I am put off by real horror stories-collapsing noses, swelling that doesnt ever get better (years post-op)awww your so lucky.

my nose wasn't ugly in the first place. It was aright. Just asymmetrical, that's what i didn't like the most. So there was not much to change. BUT if you've been long enough on this web page you should know that on those two "after" pictures my nose looks great for only 2-3 weeks post-op. You know that it takes at least 2 months for the first bruises and swollen parts to go away? And it takes a year to see final results? So how can you judge after 2-3 weeks that nothing has really changed? I even still had stitches in my nose!!! Way too early to judge! Even now im 1,5 months post-op and still pretty sure it's not a final result, that's why i don't rush with posting pictures, so people like you who don't know much won't judge the result my doctor achieved wrongly. I'll definitely post more pictures after 2 month passes, because I am a model and gonna go back to photo shoots finally. So more to come

@animallover1: How do the comments on this post reflect anything about American culture? Any culture would defend her being that her results are obvious. Yes you do have a right to your opinion, but opinions can be wrong, and at least 2 others think its wrong, so majority rules! There is an obvious difference to me and to @Angiemcc, her results are very good and obviously different. You've been on this post for a while talking to this girl about the procedure..and then all of a sudden u tell her that u don't really see a difference? And what I said wasn't rude and negative at all. It just seems you're being irrational with your opinion. And how dare you bring up American culture! We Americans are a proud and strong culture, so if you're learning more about our culture and don't like it, then don't irrationally comment on any American results. Like the moderator and I said, there are obvious results. Don't try to play her. And btw, bull is not a bad word. -_-

Because before she didn't has a pictures and after she post her pictures I couldn't see a big deal. I just believed her without the picture right inthe begining. Is it make any sence to you. Look above all my messages. I said right inthe beginine after she attached her photo that I do not want to sound rude but ................ she has so many picture of before and barely tiny pictures after that it's confusing. He front nose is still the same to me, I only could see the site difference nothing more. If you see result and someone else that's FINE and most importantly if she is happy why any of opinion like mine should bother you ? As long as we don't call each others name that's all is matter. I have a rights to be honest. And if I don't see something you do who cares ? You can't please all world.

So, as I understood I have to be a lier to look positive. Correct ? Wow, I guess I learn more every day about american culture.
If she is happy with her result why place a pictures for opinions ?

Well, I don't know what she tried to achieve but I just look one more time and I did see difference from the site but the front looks to me still the same. May be she didn't want to change all look, that's why I do not see a lot of difference.

P.S. this is the site to share honest opinion. I am not here to play a games.

If all this pictures is after. I do not want sound rude but just honest. I do not see any good result.

Wow! Very good results! I am planning on doing the same thing next year. I'm going to India do get a rhinoplasty, and seeing your results makes me more confident. I'm going to save that doctor's website to my phone. Lol. Oh, and just one question: Did your total include your veneers also? Thanx!
